Why The Apple TV Is Still My Favourite Streamer In 2026!

I've had an Apple TV from the first version.

I was given & used an Amazon Stick thingy for a bit 🤮

Before the 2022 came out my old one died and wanted the NEW 2022 version - so I used the Amazon stick to bide my time till the new ATV launched (Again 🤮)
Big part of the reason for wanting the new one was because of the New Remote - OMG - what a GREAT controller. I hacked it a bit to make it even better 👍👍

But - over the years I have migreated to EVERTHING Apple for ALL the right reasons.
One main one being that if I have a technical issue (rarely but it happens) with any device - Apple is simply a call away and they help me irregardless of the age of the device in question.
& that is worth a sh*t tonne for me.🛟🛟🛟

BTW - I will likely NOT buy the new one this fall - unless the 2022 dies...

Great Video, have to agree love the Apple TV device, never stutters and no adverts to circumnavigate. As i am still using the 1st Gen 4K Apple TV i was going to buy the rumoured new 4K box later this year. Thanks to this video, comments on here and the recent price hikes I decided to look for the 3rd Gen with Ethernet but most shops are sold out. Fortunately i found a deal on eBay for a refurbished model with 1 year warranty for £91.96, though it does come with the EE remote, it will do for me.

Glad I got mine few years ago since the price increase yesterday likely means the rumours of the new one releasing later will be at that new price point.

Managed to grab a 64gb and 128gb from Amazon yesterday at the older 139/169 price. The 64gb WiFi is still available next day but looks like stock of the 128gb Ethernet/wifi model has now been exhausted.
