Why O sounds like A in Russian – Russian pronunciation – Vowel reduction

I suddenly got the urge to learn spanish, dutch and russian as a native bulgarian turk who is already c1 in english

it's always stressed in "milk" so why dont you just write it "malako" or "mālāko", preferably in latin alphabet as well 🤷‍♂️
Why dont write as it is read? If that changes over time change ortography as well, preferably in all languages, even english...

You get this question because people use Duo Lingo, and they dont explain anything. So you're left with every word having о sounding nothing like you expect.

Why don't you use "a" instead of "o" if it is not stress than ????

If you stress the second O in МОЛÓКО, then you'll get the most famous GREEK word 🤣

Is there a way to figure out how to spell a word when hearing it? For example, if you hear the word "beautiful" in Russian, you can write it as "красивый" OR "кросивый". Is there a way to know whether to spell it with a "o" or an "a" without looking it up in the dictionary?

Second question is, why is the spelling not more phonetic, how did this rule come to be. Why spell it "Россия" instead of "Рассия"?

I am from czech republic and I say sorry that it's so complicated to everyone who is trying to learn it also 😂 After watching the video, It would be nice to have more examples for adjectives and everything becuase it's always so nice to hear a native speaker say the words like they are supposed to be said. overall, lovely video. thank you for sharing with us the mysteries of russian language and of the words like молоко or окно. my rule of the thumb is to always read only the last O as Ó, the rest is A (apart from adjectives)

This feels like it's very unnecessary. Why not just use an A if you want and A? And if it's because it's not quite an 'A', why not write it like 'Ä' or something, similar to' Ë'

In spanish we hispanohablantes have some rules when it comes to write stress accent (acentuación in spanish have an ó with stress symbol) in order to know how to pronounciate some word. Do russian have any writting rule about "acentuación"?, If there are any rules, why much of russian exposed out there doesn't show any marked letter? i.e. ó á é ú í
