Why Jennifer Lawrence Regrets Everything She’s Ever Said or Done | The Interview
Video Overview & Insights
By the time she was 22, Jennifer Lawrence had already won an Oscar for “Silver Linings Playbook” and starred in two major franchises, “The Hunger Games” and “X-Men.” Despite the accolades and public adulation, Lawrence tells “The Interview” host Lulu Garcia-Navarro that privately, she was always waiting for the backlash. After taking a break and doing some soul-searching, Lawrence is back in the movie “Die My Love,” co-starring Robert Pattinson, in which she plays a woman being driven mad by motherhood.

@emilygunning2350Jennifer I beleive you got this now, I believe in you. I think you are on the right track.
@alienpaul9999Oh, well there it is.....at the end when she talks about being political and how now she is now pulling back - because she is an artist.....She lost favor with her public due to her loud mouth and opinions that no one wanted from her. She came off as a bully and it didn't serve her well. SOOOOO many "actors" have done this to them selves - WE DO NOT CARE WHAT THE FUK YOU THINK. WE DO NOT WANT YOUR OPINION AT ALL. And the biggest violator of that is De Nero. I cannot stand to look at him nor at Jimmy Kimmel. She is smart to make docs about her thoughts. MUCH better way to serve up an opinion than to scream in my face.
@MISSYLISTONShe was only everywhere cuz of harvey weinstein
@ScamAltmansLooptOmg. I never ever once thought that Jennifer was a fraud for falling twice. As a girl who can trip up the stairs and on flat pavement with zero cracks or stones to trip over - I recognize another wondeful aloof klutz when I see her and I very much felt for her and honestly, Jennifer has helped me realize that you can have anxiety and do things in life and be successful. That girl has given me a lot of hope. I hope she knows that.
@JadeWytchStudiobest acting j law's done right here
respect!
Muy buena entrevista, Jennifer es una persona joven muy lucida y coherente, saludos
@carlosalbertofumarola9706Jennifer has such an amazing personality ❤People in the comments are being way too harsh on the interviewer, like an angry mob
@andreyfrolov221Jennifer Lawrence: * Starts talking about deep interest in American history and its connection to the dynamics to the current cultural climate *
Interviewer: So nudity.....
It was a good interview. Jennifer is an absolute treasure- love her.l
@sa2591-p5dMy god, this interviewer is dreadful!
@oliverwinton1333has she had work done?
@nicolasmith-j2qJennifer Lawrence is a really special amazing woman - and she also seems to be an American patriot. She represents the America I still admire. --- about the title: is this a NYT interview? Was there really no one who could think of a decent title?
@hhschrader8067The interviewer is weird.
@GoodygoodyaWow, what an interview! I really appreciate the interviewer's attitude and thoughtful questions. This became, I think, one of the best interviews I have ever watch to date. I will have to check this channel out more often.
@cheerio3847The interviewer is coarse. Jennifer deserves better. The woman asks a question that’s generally impertinent and before Jennifer finishes the thought she’s told I’m sorry I want to talk about this…
I’m halfway through and annoyed. 👎🏻👎🏻 Don’t waste Jennifer’s or our time. Jennifer you look beautiful and I can’t wait to see what you’ve done with this role. I’ll read the book first too. ♥️
Loved that Jennifer Lawrence discussed the physical issue as "postpartum", not "postpartum depression". She is so smart and thoughtful and thought-provoking. Impressive and admirable.
@louisecornwall6870The world and hollyweird took away all her sparkle, joy and playfulness. The world put her on a pedestal and then kicked her down. I hope her heart fully heals <3 <3 <3
@NotUrBotthis interviewer sucks yo
@JamesMoon-y4pI think she gaslights herself.
@Nay-kp6uuIt's not just Jennifer. I also regret everything she's said and done. She's arrogant, pretentious, and not that talented.
@jhandle4196Hollywood is not a healthy place. Jennifer, you've always inspired me 💖by your authenticity.
@corrinnetheoi wonder about that interviewer in her quest for fame and fotune it seems like she tries to make the interviewee uneasy and the audience in turn i guess in this case it is probably better than the long lost friend approach that works so well trump. i love jennifer lawrence she gets my vote for the perfect women who else would have mentioned a venn diagram of women and prostitutes, nothing escapes this women, national treasure
@patrickfitzsimmons4818I love you, Jennifer. Greetings from Europe, greetings from Germany.
@Marina-c1g4oJennifer you are the Clint Eastwood on the Femme side. I hope you can ignore all the Mega idiots, shallow influencers and interveners. It has been a pleasure watching your career and your frank honesty about life. As flawed as you may think you are, the world would be a better place if more people used you as a role model. You would make a better President than the Rump.
@SPACEcase135:10
I'm putting the timestamp of where the 'Title' was derived from.
Too many comments blasting the title without watching the video.
The title MAY be distasteful...
or
more than likely, the title was pre-approved by Jennifer Lawrence or her team, and was more of a fun 'Leo pointing at the screen' meme moment.
Now you guys went and got all conspiratorial...
Mountains out of molehills.
I first discovered JL in the X-Men and Hunger Games movies. She was a better than average young actress right from the start, and has really blossomed in her craft in the years since, but most endearingly of all she has literally always been effortlessly natural and hilarious during interviews in the very best kind of way. She honestly makes it hard to resist being a fan.
@danp6897The interviewer is TERRIBLE. Except for Jennifer, I would have stopped watching ten minutes in.
@CatherineSTodd30:46 Jennifer mentions "One Battle After Another" (2025), as the "greatest film she's ever watched." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feOQFKv2Lw4

AI Overview
"One Battle After Another is a sprawling action-comedy-thriller written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It follows Bob (Leonardo DiCaprio), a washed-up, off-grid ex-radical who must rescue his teenage daughter, Willa (Chase Infiniti), after she is kidnapped by his sadistic, alt-right military nemesis, Colonel "Lockjaw" (Sean Penn).The plot unfolds as a relentless, adrenaline-fueled chase across the American West. Here is how the story breaks down:The Backstory: The French 75Sixteen years prior to the main narrative, Bob—then known as "Ghetto Pete"—and his fiery, revolutionary partner Perfidia Beverly Hills (Teyana Taylor) were part of a militant activist group called the French 75. They staged daring strikes, like freeing migrants from detention centers and bombing utility grids. During this period, Perfidia had an affair with the brutal Colonel Lockjaw, making him the biological father of her baby. After a botched bank heist, Perfidia was captured and gave up her former comrades for witness protection, leaving Bob to raise their daughter in paranoid isolation. Writing Without Rules: Deep Dives·Writing Without Rules: Deep Dives +3The Present Day: The HuntSixteen years later, Bob lives a fried, somewhat incompetent, and highly paranoid existence on the outskirts of Baktan Cross, California, deeply overprotective of Willa. When Lockjaw rises to power within a fascistic state apparatus and discovers their location, a frantic cross-country chase ensues. Willa is kidnapped, and Bob is forced to pull together his old, scattered revolutionary allies to rescue her and navigate the relentless attempts on their lives. Writing Without Rules: Deep Dives·Writing Without Rules: Deep Dives +2The Climax & ResolutionWilla manages to use her own wits and survival skills to outmaneuver her kidnappers, engage in shootouts with local militias, and even take out her pursuers. Meanwhile, Lockjaw's corrupt allies, realizing he is Willa's biological father, turn on him and kill him.In the aftermath, Bob reunites with Willa and hands her a letter of reconciliation from her mother, Perfidia. With the immediate danger cleared, Bob gives Willa his blessing to attend a protest in Oakland—symbolizing that the fight for justice is cyclical and the next generation has taken up the mantle."
LOVE Jennifer Lawrence as everyone does because her honesty is stellar! But this interview and interview is the worst I have ever seen. I hope Jennifer doesn't take this tarnish to heart. She's fabulous, truthful and funny. We need many more just like her!
@CatherineSToddI've always had a ton of respect for Jennifer.
Besides being an incredible actress she's so genuine and honest. I really admire that about her.
She seems kind and thoughtful.
@user-xh1kz7rm4jI feel annoyed by the prompting of this interviewer, she seems to be leading her and trying at times to frame the statements Jennifer is making.
@WaveOfTranslationthe only truly thing she lets go ' i dont mean anything i say '
she's an actress. .her job is to lie on film and 'do' a thing, not mean it or even reveal who she is
she is very beautiful and likeable, but there really doesn't seem to be much there otherwise. i think that's sad.
awful interviewer
@ZackyinkedShit interviewer. You have no idea what you're doing.
@mamalojamaPeople should walk out of interviews more often when they are being disrespectful
@hannahlapham4638Is this rage bait?
@hannahlapham4638Clickbait title and awkward asf interview, Times interviewer was getting frustrated she couldn't crack Jen and kept pushing too far, "we spent this entire interview talking about how sensitive you are!" Ok... Felt like she was trying to force being more relaxed in the second half as a different sleesy tactic, major ick
@hannahlapham4638Awful. First the clickbait title, and then the interview was clumsy and badly planned/executed. Really expected better from The NYT.
@harrr53If only the interviewer was as genuine and authentic as Jennifer Lawrence
@KayDivertidaAs a 75-yo woman, I admire Ms. Lawrence’s vulnerability and openness. She is unequivocally herself. I respect her for who she is. Brava to her.
@katherineyokers8052Why is she called an actor ... she's a woman, thus ... ACTRESS !!!
@william_marshalThe clickbait title feels like a build-up to what the interviewer says at 33:33 -- getting J-Law to essentially say actors have no business weighing in on GZ. Feels like she got pressure to retract or amend what she said earlier, the truth: Izzy and the US are committing a g-cide in GZ.
J-Law is a real one, and she'll be remembered as one of the few people in Hollywood with a large platform to speak out on the hlcst of our time. "One day, everyone will have always been against this." That day is approaching fast, but not fast enough for the Plstnians.
Noooooo dont change
