There is a case out of Ohio (that is unfortunately super depressing) where they had 16 kids in one room. As far as we know now, the kids all belong to one mother and range in age from 1-18. What caught my attention (other than the horrific scenario) is the youngest 6 kids are 3 sets of twins. This made me wonder if there is a biological reason that after so many births, a woman's body would start carrying two at a time.

Could there be a biological reason for this, or is this an incredibly rare occurrence?

IMHO Spotify/Sirus have made listening to music so seamless that most of my family doesn’t want to listen to radio (even commercial-free NPR music stations) because you’ll have to hear songs that aren’t your favorite, but that’s a great way to experience new things and we should try stuff that isn’t perfect (at least on first listening/viewing) so we can grow

Maybe only tangential, but I think about this every day: Why are we pouring resources into fiddling with software and web design that's almost perfectly suited to its purpose already and has been for ages? Accessibility and security improvements, sure, go nuts, but that sure isn't where most of the money and effort is landing. And yes, it's a rhetorical question and the answer is obvious. Maybe a better question is why is anybody who's not getting rich off it in any way excited about it?

I’ve had similar conversations after taking someone who plays modern tabletop role playing games, and exposing them to what I grew up with: 1970s and 80s D&D.

The game system is anything but optimized and efficient like the modern versions have been… and yet, despite all the conflicting and mathematically incompatible sub-systems and obscure conditional rules, people can’t deny the charms.

It feels gritty and half-baked, and the system itself keeps players on their toes. “Wait… what do I roll now? Is high good… or do I want low this time?”

I think it helps give the players a sense of the confusion and unease that the characters are supposed to be feeling in the situation.
