of nuclear reactor, are gaining attention for their ability to provide round-the-clock power with minimal emissions. As some of the largest energy users, major tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Meta are investing in these reactors, which could play a key role in global energy transformation.
Chapters:
Nuclear reactors cannot be allowed to come back online. This is a threat to all humanity. Any military conflict and their dirty deeds will turn the planet into a lifeless space. On the contrary, due to the growing demand for energy, Globaltrend Energy offers environmentally friendly and low-cost solutions, and these capacities are being expanded. You are investing in the wrong place, threatening all of humanity with your financial participation.

AMD's market cap surpassing Intel's crowns Lisa Su's decade-long bet on fabless agility + chiplet modularity. Ditching fabs for GlobalFoundries in 2009 was painful short-term but let AMD ride TSMC's relentless node shrinks while pouring R&D into Zen—SMT cores, Infinity Fabric interconnects, and tiled CCXs that scaled EPYC for datacenters and Ryzen for consumers, flipping perf/Watt leadership Intel's monolithic dies couldn't match. Xilinx at $49B was the chess move for FPGAs in AI edge/reconfigurable compute, diversifying beyond x86 as ARM rises. Intel's IDM nostalgia meanwhile bled capex on lagging process tech. Consumers get better prices and choice; the duo now drives innovation forward.

Why nobody talking that they need power now, and it takes 10 years to build Nuclear reactor?
They just gonna put a lot of Gas turbines. (natural gas is cheap)

It's a relief that nuclear energy is getting more and more positive attention but the fact that it had to get billionaire only invest in on it only for their data centers for AI, when it should've been for more public based needs (i.e. housing)

Please don't paint big tech in a good light, like they will save the world because they bring nuclear energy back to the picture.
1) They caused this with AI; they are trying to fix their problem, not the environmental problem. They are trying to detach AI from being an environmental issue, but don't forget, AI needs clean water too, and it will continue to contaminate waterways even if there is an energy surplus.
2) The debate of nuclear power is polarizing for a reason, no, it's not the uneducated vs educated like they try to paint it. Yes, nuclear is better, but only IF we manage it properly. Meaning, regulations and the political side need to be well established. But if there is a sudden surplus of nuclear power plants, it raises the question of whether policies will be able to keep up.
3) With the increase in private power plants, it is harder to keep an eye on them all and ensure that nuclear waste is properly dealt with. Especially since that is an expensive part of the process, these companies are known to have cut corners with many other things and causing ecological harm. How can we ensure that they wouldn't just "accidentally" dump nuclear waste and just casually receive the slaps on the wrists fines like they do now?

Nuclear Energy is still too expensive. Do the Math. Vogtle 3 & 4 will take over 60 years to break even. Nuclear is twice as expensive as Wind, Solar or even Natural Gas. And there is no place to put the nuclear waste. All spent fuel is being kept on site at each Nuke generating facility. Someday there will be an accident with the stored nuclear fuel, and everyone will wonder why we did not plan to address the spent fuel issue.

Lots more nuclear fuel moving about with higher risk of theft for nefarious activities.

Why Amazon, Microsoft, Google And Meta Are Investing In Nuclear Power
The problem with nuclear it takes years to get a permit to even START building. Deregulation is key

I like the optimism on SMRs but you talk about them like we've ever really made them😂
@lfeng15Why have we allowed irrational misinformed fear to determine our Nuclear legislation? Why have environmentalists, with opposition to nuclear, forced us to continue to use more dangerous and polluting fossil fuels? Why haven't we help our environment with nuclear until sun and wind tech advances to viability? As long as our decisions are not based on fact and rational thought, we will continue to make bad decision.
@rustyneuronAI will be the end of us.
@valkry007The only way someone could conclude that TMI's accident was bad was someone who was already motivated to believe nuclear was bad. Any objective perspective would realize even in the worst case scenario nobody was harmed, meanwhile the coal powerplant down the rive was statistically responsible for half a dozen deaths a year under normal operation.
@AlexWaardenburgMustache man has it down. He's done a really good job on explaining this. I think that this is completely the right path, and I really hope that we push forward in this direction. I think that he is spot-on.
@imacuser101Make more money,
@rayrocher6887Invest into top tier real estate can bring so much progress to the entire society.
@JohnnyCash7126They don't even know the complexities of every combination and every possible pattern of fatigue involved in the unwinding and cleaning and inspecting and rewinding of coils used in the essential motors in electrification. First, they the people who were intended holding the power to self-destruction should learn how to sow seeds.
@largestudent198They should stop investing in so much AI instead.
@paulungaThese guys are nuts
@abeiswaykoolerNuclear power isn't renewable. Take uranium from the ground, and it won't reappear. Also, where would the spent fuel rods be stored? If data centers are located next to nuclear plants, what will happen if there's a meltdown?
@oldones59-k6rτοπιασες το νοημα ξανα εβραιε μπραβο γατα εισε
@antisemitis-antifasistasSuch a step backwards, Nukes, Really??? - Risking lives and more pollution just to power a useless and scary technology that we honestly can live without. Countless people suffered or died because of being misdiagnosed by AI medical advice from chat ChatGPT. Fools...
@markmalone5384Propaganda is a deliberate action aimed at influencing audiences, shaping their views and behavior. It can be used to achieve various goals, such as political, social or economic.
@asddfgh7074what nonsense are you talking, SMRs are already in operation in Europe, Russia, China.
@laughingvampire7555elon musk said the area to make a nuclear power plant with solar panel generates more energy, why not solar, because china has the monopoly on it. but why I mean by monopoly, they own since the mines to all processes of industrialization to make a solar panel. ten year ago they laugh of a scientist who said the cost of a certain amount of energy would be 10 dollars today china produces it for 50. it is a monopoly because If you try to open a factory because of scale and vertical integration theirs is are going to be better and cheaper, why would someone by yours? same thing with batteries, same thing with wind. same thing with infrastructure. same thing with naval engineering same think with rare metals china does not have and euv lithography machine, but now they are giving the priority of atomic bomb. that means a blank check for everybody who study and work in the subject. those blank checks only exist in the military. US with its embargo made it a military priority. so now it is the same as the man going to the moon with a calculator as a computer, if you put money enough in a problem, you attract the best brains, give them the best materials. the liberty of them try everything without being afraid of failure because there is no limit for the money. like Apollo in the 60 they are going to get to and euv machine the same way us went to the moon,
@rlobo85No. No. No.
@MagimaybeheheAustralia's PM unfortunately won't even discuss Nuclear. He is pushing the mass renewables con. He wants Australia to become a renewables super power. Instead he will end up bankrupting this great country. Australia has the richest uranium resources in the world. It would make sense to go down the nuclear path.
@MarkHines-p8dWho needs gas, oil, and nuclear when we have solar panels and windmills?
@peteranderson210please don't say emissions free. carbon free isn't emissions free. nuclear waste is huge pollutant and has the highest potential - 1gram of waste plutonium in atmosphere is worse than 1 ton of carbon emission
@viviexoversixWe don’t need more electricity; we need world 🌎 peace and STOP the massacres of children 👧🏽 🧒
@delir.6488I thought we were trying to get rid of them.. another lie lol
@Aquaflow_Is nuclear energy experiencing a renaissance? Because if so then I am happy about it
@MamaMia-go7coWhat’s the difference between high/low and one-touch binary options?
@elvinpierce4352Or just design AI models to be more energy-efficient than ChatGPT, like China's Deepseek requiring significantly less computing power and potentially consuming 10 to 40 times less energy for similar tasks.
@CCasdfKnowledge supports growth.
@JahguaarThere WILL BE WASTE in creating ANY Nuclear energy which has to be disposed of. DISPOSED OF, WHERE? IN YOUR BACKYARD? This is only ONE of the reasons it was abandoned in the 70s !! Not clean energy!!! Keep looking, and say “NO” to Nuclear anything!! Its not a win!!
@JR-ke7wlSMR and OKLO will be stocks to invest in
@NicholasJones-p9c2:43 molten salt near lava but
@Continentalmunkey77Fuel not mentioned! Research where Uranium is mined..
@lekaidoThese companies are investing in nuclear because of their insane energy demands, limited fossil fuel production and a deep desire to steal as much as possible from consumers (which they should be calling people). Does paying for solar panels or wind on every business and home capable of having it make sense if they can't charge customers (again, people) for it? Of course not. Their friends who supply their energy wouldn't be happy if private and government interests can't profit off people... that would just be wrong...
@valoriethechemistWow!! The far-left woke meisters going nuclear. Very good. And very interesting. Hope they consulted Greenpeace on that one.
