Making fun of rich celebrities while being a rich celebrity isn’t exactly rebellious. That’s the easiest target in the world. People gossip about famous people every day at work, online, and at home.

The bigger issue is that the act has built-in insulation: if people laugh, the joke worked; if people don’t laugh, they’re told they weren’t supposed to like it anyway.
