Just watched it, major let down that there WASNT a joke about gay people or libs every minute

Honestly the movie was kinda woke. Like a trans guy shows up, he gets misgendered a couple times and then immediately either he or someone else in the same scene will correct whoever did it before launching a gag at their expense. And then the guy gets stabbed to death as part of a completely unrelated gag that also makes a reference to ICE and white liberalism.

Yea I don’t think anyone actually watched that movie or cared.

On paper, a pronouns/“Did you just assume my gender” joke in 2025/2026 sounds outdated and overdone. I don’t know enough about joke delivery and tone striking to give feedback, but when I saw that joke in the trailer my feeling was that it had the potential to be really funny. As it was, it was kinda funny but still just low-hanging fruit. If that makes sense. Idk.

They didn't nail the anti-woke jokes like, at all. And I'm conservative as hell.

I did, however, laugh out loud at every instance of a woman getting hurt.

After watching it I thought it was hilarious. I could tell they just had fun with it and ya towards the end it got even sillier with all the John wick random shit but still very entertaining to watch

The funny paradox of "offensive" movies is that they're more offensive when they're not trying to be.

Was scary movie 1 and 2 funny? I remember them being funny I don't know if they are now, at least what they did was parody horror movies not do their best to be offensive, also it's not funny just lame.

Idk why people are hating on Scary Movie. It has its flaws, but overall is exactly what it promised to be. A silly movie, with stupid jokes, and everyone just having fun. It’s not suppose to be taken seriously. Let people enjoy what they enjoy and just don’t watch the movie.

If only ya’ll put this much effort into berating and admonishing the people who actually deserve to be ridiculed. Like all the celebrities, business people, and politicians that associated with Epstein.

In spanish the dubbing made it better IMO, bc also the translation got rid of some things that only made sense for english speakers and some of the jokes are funnier.

I'm not seeing how this is any different from the previous Scary Movies.

How fun it was to hear that this movie was just 50% jokes about pronouns, trans people, and violence against them, and the other half was just references to movies with no joke

The film was exactly what i expected. Though due to me being exhausted from work made it slightly funnier

I think there's a ton of funny visual gags in the movie, and Ghost Face being a cartoon like villain was really entertaining to watch. But yeah, it's kind of of annoyingly meta and "edgy" for it's own good.

This movie was actually embarrassing. I watched scary movie when i was 9 and stopped finding it funny at 16 they did not need to green light this for one second.

While the movie had its moments, I feel rhe Waynes Bros. Focused too much on offending the "sensetive" generation, than actually making a comedy

You can really tell that more and more millenials are in writing positions now. Im a late millenial and when we were young a meme would last years. Nowadays if you include a currently hot meme in the movie you are making it will be long dead and lame by the time this movie came out. I could have told them what a bad idea it is to include a hawk tuah joke.
