What is a eurodollar? The answer to that question is far more complicated than you've ever heard and have been led to believe. So many myths persist about money and reserve currency, what they are and what they have to do. In this video, join me in taking the first step to understanding these deepest fundamentals.

Let's take a closer look to see if we can't just figure out what's in the black hole.

This is what Eurodollar University does. We aim to dispel the nonsense and get beyond to reveal the underlying facts so as to be able to better understand the world we inhabit. The one caught in the eurodollar's tight orbit.

Eurodollar University's Memberships and more:

So, you're saying that the eurodollar as a currency is akin to java script among coding languages. Right? It's the mediator; the central hub.

Rewatching this video and I can't help but wonder if this is the reason XRP and the ripple ledger was invented. And with referral bank status around the corner, more control. No wonder Europe rebukes is right now

THE EPISODES

this is my take as the the US became more popular a good way to make money , was to change local currencies to US , so the bank would get a lot of US money and we know more you buy the cheaper it is, and they made money off the exchange rate then business started to use them , and found out that they could make money too and cut down cost

I can't help thinking that the Eurodollar market is simply a dollar based counterpart to the system that precedied it, based on bills of exchange - or banknotes redeemable in gold, and gold. A credit system. Paul Volker wrote a thesis about it and it's been described by many monetary historians.

Sit back and watch as the U.S. completely up-ends the entire Swift network with the implementation of a stablecoin backed by US Treasuries.
Teather is already collecting skulls, but this is just the beginning. Caitlin Long has just figured out a way to legaly tokenize crypto. The end of central banking is upon us.
Thank GOD.

This was hardly a clear description, never mind an actual explanation. You may understand these concepts, but you are really not very good at presenting them.

Great content! The monetary system of the future will likely be an over-collateralized, algorithmic stablecoin with distributed ledgers. The nearest approximation at this time is the DJED token developed by COTI. Check it out! It's elegant ... and solves a lot of very perplexing weaknesses in the legacy system.

Holy shit. No wonder inflation is so out of control. These other countries figured out how to print Dollars out of thin air to buy real capital and leave the US holding the bag.

so did the patriot act which limited access to trading of dollars to only what is deemed as approved people, one of the big breaks in 2008?

In graduate school, i was always told soviet oil revenue was the start of the eurodollar system; they refused to park dollars in US banks due to lack of trust and parked the dollars in European countries, mainly the UK.

Example UK there was currency control ..permission needed to be granted from BoE to transfer £ sterling above £200 amount to another country .. $$ sidestepped this restriction .. if $$ had been received for goods or held in US bank this could be avoided ... Look at payment systems for exported goods .. in port ..transit.. on board.. this then changed to offshore banking ..goods sold ..money to offshore bank .. no tax paid in UK but money held offshore.. that is where collapse will happen .. lookup derivatives transferred in Virgin Island,. Hundreds of trillions . .yes trillions £££. $$$¢

QUESTION: Is it conceivable that the notional parity between Eurodollars and USD could one day break? It seems to me that the answer to that is probable "YES".

I will have to review this video several times so that these new concepts become ingratiated.

Fascinating explanation. I think I finally have a clue what you mean by eurodollar. Can XRP or other crypto substitute for this system? That would be a great topic for a show.

This just means the urodollar ledger system is dependant with dollar us banks holding assets. They are set to raise or fall together.

when this banks and the USA commercial banks issue new money they are disposing of private property that does not belong to them. You don't care because you don't have to work for it due you game the casino but i do

@supportdadelock3011
@

are they creating -issuing (like the USA commercial banks) new money ?If so ...i want to do that. What a privilege ...so they ,like the counterfeite.So they issue the money for which the rest of mortals have to work? Is this a fairy tale ...once upon a time......tell me a story

@jpducati916
@

Huh? It's easy! A eurodollar is home currency in a foreign market. That's it. So JPY in Australia is a eurodollar, and a USD in Zimbabwe is a eurodollar.

The Federal Reserve is Rothschilds Bank, and the maritima law in which america is ruled since 1871 is the british crown and the vaticans doing. The system itself, piracy installed in America due to forgery of documents on americas original 1776 constitution by the british crown and Rothschilds Monopoly Money System is dying right before your very eyes ;) All that happened with the East India Company taking over america ;) What happens around you goes back onto the revolutionary war against the East India Company and the war of independence against the british redcoats

@Biohazard1984GamingTV

u spent 20 min talking bs trying to explain fractional reserve banking in eurodollar denomination banks. trying to pretend it's some kind of magical thing.
it's just a global interbank fractional reserve banking system on eurodollar deposits.

@zenastronomy

Interesting. Now I wonder what sanctions do to the Euro$ system and what BRICS are up to. Can you please touch on that someday? Thanks

So, I'm Central African Republic and no one wants CFA francs but my central bank creates 625,000,000 of them and swaps them for USD; 1) who would accept the liability of USD for CFA, 2) ok what next, they lend the USD into the Eurodollar system gaining a claim on roughly a million USD; 3) what happens next, they use the claim on the one mill to stimulate local business and cross-border trade? 4) when is the day of reckoning i.e. how do they settle for each million USD "created" since no one wants their CFA to begin with. What do they eventually settle with? It's too sketchy to understand.
