Why do we love Snapchat so much?
It is not a cloud, it is somebody else's' computer.
You can get a 5TB HDD for what you pay for cloud storage and somebody has to target you to hack you instead of the clean sweep hackers make when they break into the cloud . . . ;>)
It is getting to be a sad state when the old maxim of don't give your info out has changed to let us hold that for you because you are to stupid to do it for yourself and they want your money for doing your job

Letting somebody else hold YOUR INFO makes as much sense as needing a phone BILL to order from Pizza Butt or Wally World from your computer.
Do you get verified with a computer when you order from your phone BILL? If not it is discrimination to require a phone BILL to order anything online . . .

@corinunley4753you forgot to mention the part where the data storage center is legally viable to revoke your ability to access your data at any time. and you know whats going to happen then? thats right, all your precious data goes down the drain, with no way to get it back. so you want a better solution? use physical media to store your data. its more private, has no monthly fee, and theres no RTA on it, its yours forever, period.

@KurosHQThank you for this brief but informative video. I'm not an IT person, but it's impossible to operate in today's world without having a basic knowledge of technology. I didn't want anything detailed since I knew I wouldn't understand it. This was PERFECT.

@D01589466This is the best example I've heard. Now I get it... The cloud is virtual storage space and different brands may offer it for a free until you reach a certain limit, which requires monthly fees. Thanks for a simple vid!! Just subscribed.
