I went to a state park the other day. I was all alone in a vast valley, huge mountains in the background. The leaves on the trees changing colors. Listening to the wind, the birds, the crickets. Not looking at it thru my mind by description, just looking. Felt like my body was almost vibrating. When I sat back in my car I found a huge tick on my neck. 😂

I remember being 8ish, probably younger even, and questioning reality. Not sure why, but always thought "life" was weird. I recall repeating in my mind "am I really alive. Am I actually here" over and over, zoned out, and repeating those questions...until I reached a state. Like a vibrational, intense, almost scary sensation, and I'd snap out of it. I did it alot as a kid. 43 now, haven't done it since I was probably 10. I can't explain the feeling, but I know it was real!

You remind me so much of A.A. and the years I was in and out of it and my 20's. Looking now later in life for a spiritual path that doesnt center around alcohol but unfortunately A.A. meetings has been the only place in my experience that mirrors what youre talking about...

Please do not overthink everything, it will just drive you mad, the enlightenment of spiritually comes the day that you learn to let go, and just drift with the stream of life, then things will come to you when you need them. It’s that simple.

How do we find the right path that is customizable for us should we read or seek a specific guidance from a mentor ?

You are absolutely correct. Science revolves around identifying something mostly things already existing in nature, breaking it down bit by bit, trying to find it's core and once you have it, they will control it, for better or for worse. That's how civilizations grew, became what it is today. Humans are driven by curiosity. Curious to find out the root of everything.

But consider a simple question, what is 0,1,2,3..... in nature? What is their significance? Nothing! We as humans know they are numbers, does the newborn or animals or plants or any other living organisms know? Aren't they living? If people hadn't discovered it, wouldn't there be life? Of course everything would exist. Life doesn't depend on these numbers or science.

Why we learn these, just to be able to control them in one way or the other. We are so involved in playing with them, while life is happening each and every moment. And we miss it every single second. Because we are not watchful.

Spirituality allows people to sit in nothingness, be whole, witness life as it passes by without breaking it down into atoms or molecules. Be life! and drop the becoming. It's a one on one connection with nature itself. Ones own journey into nothingness. As it goes deeper and deeper, it becomes a part of your being, and you get rid of all the sufferings, all the running, and eventually your mind that's when you become truly alive.

Religions on the other hand are a group act, certain types of practices are followed by people and as a group or community, they belong to a religion. When religion goes deep, and one connects to nature as an individual, that's when spirituality is experienced.

Life has to be experienced/lived not understood. Each and every moment of it with awareness, consciously, deeply, truly, fully as a child, who knows nothing.

Leo, you’re dealing with jinn. They’re harmful entities and they’re tricking you and using you. Get as far away from them as possible.

I just wanted to say that new age is evil because it is from satan to decieve people into the occult. 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
He is trying to decieve people from the truth which is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. If you want peace accept Jesus in your heart he said: John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” When you look for Jesus you don’t look for anything else anymore because he fills the emptiness in your heart. Maybe you are just starting or have been in new age for a while but I really encourage you to look for Jesus and accept him as your Lord and Savior. What do you lose by accepting the free gift of eternal life? John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Making the claim that something is beyond the ability of science is not a non-scientific claim. Spiritual life ignores any bullshit.

But who is there when you get there ?

Simply that you are alone and no one shares how you are at that unique point.

Whereas religion is able to help many reach a higher point where they can share where they get too.

After that the Truth bears in from outside and from questioning Truth from the inside to the outside. Rearranging the religion to be acceptable to individual enquiry. Or supporting the supposition of the individual to what truth has satisfied the individual to any understanding.
