I would define my style as fresh, whimsical and simple. I decided to break my style down to three simple definitive terms to help me define what I like. My favorite color is lime green and I love it because I can incorporate that into sunny looks for daytime or add lime green to my outfit for the nighttime.
I have also been circling back to gothic fashion lately so having three simple parameters to guide my style keeps me from purchasing items that feel too ornate or costumey. ☺️

@nathmereles986damn, as a fashion girlie myself, i felt seen on everything she said, but i wouldn’t have been able to explain it 😭😭 she did a great job
@folk_lore_my first time stumbling upon your channel, and I really liked your content and your vibes. as a girl enjoying fashion but OFTEN freaks out because I don't like my body in a lot of fits, this video helped. thank u <3
@lina8767what red pen/pencil are you using in this vid?
@radicalman40FASHION GIRLIES REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE
@FelRod5106You can't force the result of boredom. Boredom mixed with skill over time makes different creative results. The girls are being creative but for most of us, creativity comes from boredom or a feel of a need to change something. Not every outfit they put on they will like. That's part of the discipline.
@JoojieXDplayful and carefree
@anabanana10285I actually agree with a lot of this! Personal style, quality pieces, and experimenting is everything! BUT I do think all cool fashion folks do still fall into trends…
@cindym7508Vinted: @erocioo 🛍
@rocioalonso1852Girl I thought you were Rene Rapp
@AlexaWexaaCool girls always have small boobs and don't have to wear bras with their little tank tops :(
@adrianalintz7571cool fashion girls just have a lot of confidence on them
@memoriascatiTHIS is the BESTTTTT video I have ever seen about trying to dress less boring! F that clean girl aesthetic i'm tryna add some flavour, toppings and sprinkles to my fits.
Thank you so much for this video, lowkey life changing. So important to try feel confident!
i can call my style bold feminine classic vintage but there is no single aesthetic for it which is what it should be
@karamela-24i dress to feel some way or dress a certain way bc of how i feel
@karamela-24i am becoming a "fashion girlie" not bc i am trying to just because i am evolving into and i get bored of wearing something so fast and you cant see me wear the same stuff the next year but in 2 years heck yeah i would
@karamela-24I am a cool fashion girl.
And I don’t know what you’re referring to.
So. You’re silly goose
You did not stutter my friend--great video. Every day is special, treat it as a gift <3
@CiaraLynnWhen something owns your thoughts, your feelings or your lack of confidence, it is exactly something that you have to change. For me, it was starting acutane. I had excuses over time about how difficult it was to look at people in the eyes because I didn’t want them to look at me, how difficult it was to take close-up pictures of my face, how difficult it was to be present in gatherings, etc. If your insecurity owns you for years, it’s time to do something about it. « Cool looks » have nothing to do with weight, age or height. I work in a clothing store and let me tell you that I see some cool looking women who are older, heavier, thinner, mothers, whatever. Once, you change what brings you down, your style changes and you start choosing clothes that make you look better. For me, it was 1-2 years of change and throwing away clothes. Clothes can be comfortable and cool. It just takes time to find what you like. Don’t conform to what’s « trendy » ! Wear what you like !
@Carla-VS2002I loved the perspectives here. Style is sooooooo personal : )
@TiffanyLynTubeliterally the outfit is being skinny bruh
@andreaalviarez2233Points 2-3 truly changed my life. About a year and a half ago/ two years ago, I made a friend (who is literally like a sister to me), and she changed my brain chemistry when it came to style. I would pin endless Pinterest boards of outfits I loved, but when I recreated them, I just felt weird. It took me expressing myself around her and watching her be so effortless and carefree about her fashion that made me say, "f*** it, let's do it."
For some context, we live in the south, so dressing anything other than preppy or business casual isn't the norm, but sometimes you gotta be the one to stand out.
loveeee thisss thank u sooo much :)
@RealityscopeeI loved your video, it was very new and real! I will just say that you only put pictures of thin people, and so I kind of didn't "see" myself, and therefore it was harder to fully accept it as true :))
@notserioisWe are esfps. Meaning...seeing objective 5 senses and visual aesthestic, harmony and realistic form and color fitting easily.
One example. I just see triangle shoes on adults and im like...when you stopped seeing your real feet zise, at 3?
Style is realism. Color must fit actual body, not idealization.
Style must fit. Im 1,62m and in xxl or child size 125 wouldnf fit my body.
Inner personality goes to external personal style.
If you have at 25 no own style, you missed individuation level in growing up and buying mass supermarket polyester piece. No substance and knowing of values means no own personal style.
Hiding self means sloppy clothes. Exentric, but unrealistic clothes and cuts like your glasses and haircut to face geometry and size means no realism.
Its the...im fat at 34kg with 1,68 body dismorphia with people of their real selfs too.
Realistic styled people dress like they are with authenticity always.
Women with to small or big sizes or colors opposite of fitting you, trends and ideas in total contrast of their inner self always run away from having a really memorable style
Style means knowing yourself
I know kibbe type, zise, color breeze season, inner self, mirror view in geometric hair to face symmetry and distance from necklace or jewelry length on me.
People like to run away from their selfs, dissociate, copy others or feel greedy...instead of seeing self, developing skills for color and clothes piece knowledge and learning from failures
You can look disgusting at 17, but great at 25. Thats needs reflection, external feedback too, an adult brain for critical thinking and ...making a list of who you are inside and majke a style out of it.
I also dont own plastic or fast fashion.
From a place of end 20 and frirends up to 68...let me tell you...no young person under 25 has a really good authentic style. The self develops, peer groups or family and apps influence unrealistically, low travel means no complexity in style and people seen for contrast and building deeper values. Body changes fast, brain is not cognitively fully developed.
I can see which people are clearly under 25. In walk, speech, beliefs, style.
Shortly after school vs. life experience and seeing mass of people hits different in inner development.
I cant calculate in numbers how much young girls stare or look greedy at me u21 for me looking stylish with no trend or peer approval seekment.
I just tell it like it is. People might look "ok" or "cool" for their ages under 25 in peer environment. For millions others they often look creepy, weird, manga idealized, autistic, short sighted flashy, sloppy, hidden and unlively or disharmonious.
If you look like you are, adults start to treat you like an adult.
Amazinggg video— you voiced so many thoughts of mine with just one list! My main preaching point these days is putting an emphasis on 'fit'. The ability to adapt your vision to suit your own body according to its unique proportions and strengths. I love the way you worded it: what works on others might not work on you and that's okay!!! The real fashion is in the impact of its interpretation worn on you not the sum of the individual parts of the outfit. ❤
@a7fog324i like your video, but i think you need to be bolder, own the perspective up a little bit more, less "i think" yk... for example, yes her and their friends are better than the people who buy fast fashion, slow fashion is superior in quality and ethics therefore if you care about fashion you care about who made your clothes. fashion is about expression and taking a stand, about meaning and message.
@tagarellingI kept saying "me too" to everything you said lol GREAT VIDEO!
@blessedwithcolourتم الحفظ لإلهام الستايل 🤍
@aaliyah.alnoorautheticity vs performatism fr
@fizzywhiskouh truth after truth after truth!!!!!!!!!!
@fizzywhiskthank u so much this video was so helpful and eye opening <3 i am gonna dress well and put on the clothes i like even if it is just for grocery to farm my style, THANKS
@maryamghareeb4862The comment section is so funny and it's actually just proving what was said in the video lol, if everyone who's saying that the actual secret is being rich and skinny just went outside more they would stop believing that, and as long as they have that mentality they will never be cool, you guys are the ones with prejudices, not the fashion people
@Adrijxanayou don't need tons of money to be fahionable, you need the vision and the confidence and voila even a $13 top can make you look so trendy and cool
@naamyasinhaaNot careless, but carefree.
@r3zuri1:00 how do I not believe that…
@hay_bail1The bag opinion is so weird to me like what designers are you referencing for this discussion point? Id argue there's a lot of whimsy regarding bags
