@praveenprakash9040When you take knowledge on Mutual Funds from people who haven't worked in Mutual funds then mistakes can happen. Like these ones:
1. In NAV calculation the AUM is not divided by number of units its Total Asset-Total Liabilities where the total assets is basically valuation of the stocks held by the portfolio which is not dependent AUM going up & down due to purchase/redemptions.
2. On mutual funds, if we make gains, we do not pay Income Tax, we pay capital gain tax which is irrespective of what income you have.
3. When you see your portfolio not performing as per the average kf the category, it doesn't mean you have to shuffle the portfolio. You need to check multiple parameters before coming to that decision. The category average can shot up due to some schemes making extraordinary returns using extra ordinary risk..thats not the kind of gambl8your fund must have done.. so dont sell immediately.
4. 10L*100 is not 100 cr - people are so much in hurry to make videos that they dont care what mistake it delivers
