look up DELEXICAL VERBS.
MAKE is used for creative, intellectual actions.
DO is used for regular, repetitive and practical activities.

It's very difficult to remember an awful lot of collocations!!!

Hmmmm, good video, except for the "cash" money. He uses the example that you can cash money at a bank. But that doesn't make sense, you don't say, "I'm just going to head down to the bank and cash money"
