WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN
From New Line Cinema and Zach Cregger, the wholly original mind behind Barbarian, comes a new horror/thriller: Weapons.
When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.
Amy won Oscars for actress in a supporting role . Congratulations
The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.
Cregger directs from his own screenplay, and also produces alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules, with Michelle Morrissey and Josh Brolin executive producing. The filmmaker’s creative team behind the camera includes director of photography Larkin Seiple, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Joe Murphy and costume designer Trish Sommerville. The music is by Ryan Holladay, Hays Holladay and Zach Cregger.
1/10 because I'm being very generous... I still can't believe this piece of trash has won 150 awards and still holds a 7.4 rating on IMDb. I'm starting to think some evil witch—far more convincing than the one in the movie—has poured a magic potion into the water supplies of the entire world.Ridiculous and unbelievably naive, seemingly made for viewers with IQs bordering on intellectual disability
New Line Cinema Presents a Subconscious/Vertigo Entertainment/Boulderlight Pictures Production, a Zach Cregger Film, Weapons. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and released in theaters and IMAX nationwide on August 8, 2025, and internationally beginning in August 2025.

@sujithe6568They really nailed the creep factor in this film, many the scenes actualy interfered with the uncanney valley in my head, especialy when the teacher sleeps away in the car and the door opens in the night, one of the best scenes ive ever watched
@bradleymohammed4689Idk if any of y'all take New comments seriously but is this a good movie yall?
@EldritchPotatoGreat movie !
@ShellyChheanHow is the movie ...?
@KalidasDixitADD THESE WORDS OF "COLLECTIVELY MUTUALLY" AT THE END WORD 'EVOLUTIONISED' BEFORE THE FINAL FULL-STOP INTO MY PREVIOUS COMMENT.THANKS FROM G.RAJA RAJA CHOLAN.WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG WAS VERY SEVERELY VICTIMISED BY THOSE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES.FORTUNATELY NOW I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO COME OUT FROM THE VERY FIRM GRIPS OF NEGATIVELY WEAPONISED I&CT EVEN THOUGH I&CT ARE VERY ESSENTIAL TO OUR GLOBAL MODERN LIVING CIVILISATIONS TO GET MORE POSITIVE AND VERY VITAL UNIVERSAL INFORMATIONS TO COMMUNICATE WITH UNIVERSE.
@GunaSekaran-r6hI just watched this movie last night. I dont do scary movies bc its usually all the same but this one was really good. I recommend
@mariaquinones1636Rest in peace the guy 😂
@Ayaanoo13-h2lHmmm very interesting. And I don't usually care for modern horror....😮
@Roy_boy4.3brutal zomie attack movie
@zillsburyy1Writing of this quality is rare. Every single character was so fully realized and relatable. Even the monster. She was dying without healthcare. But the best part is that it nodded to The Shining. A little boy fighting evil, except all alone as Danny had Wendy to protect him.
@SaraiHaywood-q3rCrazy that the trailer has timestamps.
@askariyawAmazing trailer
@angelusvastator1297This is how you make a Trailer.
@TmAlchemistThe plot is somehow good, but the director still managed to make the movie boring.
Many scenes are just a radio! Where you hear something but the screen is completely black. Organization of scenes is messed up, and I bet they thought it was genius to start mid of the story, then jump back to the begining, then to end. The ending is where the full plot reveals, and it is cringe and childish.
they took "if the teacher isn't here in 15 minutes, we can legally leave" to a whole new level.
@RooftopRunSpagoniawhat a trip
@Jessie-w5pas soon as i saw new line cinema i knew this flim was gonna be PEAK cuz new line cinema cooks with films like TMNT 1 2 and 3
@drmohsin11I would watch anything with Josh Brolin in it.
@davidgray6777Quem ta aqui no dia das maes tambem? Feliz dia das maes
@raulcarneiro7857This movie was amazing 👏,fun to watch the Last sense of all Kids was brutal and gore to watch.But the screen play from different pov of characters does not feel bore to watch.

Now that a prequel of Gladys is in development, I wonder if they trailer for it will be similar to this with what they did with the letters in the title. It reminds me of what the ALIEN franchise does.
@ryanstauffer119I took a half day from work to and watch this last August when I wasn't feeling well. It was such a joyful experience. I knew next to nothing from seeing the trailer and got to watch the movie unfold in front of me. Perfect.
@gwh3013so the kids get lost from their home, ,but parents are screaming at school where are my kids... hollywood movies are not worth time nowadays, someone explain me the plot
@kanxhan5294wasted potential
@kaustubhanand-u2pwaw
@BoKWaaThis is like Stephen King horror type of movie which is great.
@sleepingmonstersIs this movie any good?
@shatlewslee3349Who's here because of RESIDENT EVIL???
@thebangauskiramaFantastic movie.
@KenMac-ui2vbAs far as I’m concerned, Jordan Peele had no right to use the Alcoholics Anonymous symbol in his flick. And he makes a poor example of somebody in recovery by doing so.
@MoB-v4kJust saw this on HBO. Good stuff🎉
@eanarchygleEso no sirve!! 😂 es un clavo😂, that isn't worth it.... and I swallowed it entirely 2hrs😢😂
@erickd4694Man i have 30 min left to watch i can't wait to go back home and finish it , really love this movie so far 👌👌
@teksauceeThematically, this reminds me of an old film “Picnic At Hanging Rock” by Peter Weir (director of “Witness”, “Dead Poet’s Society”, and other great films).
@MsAppassionataNOT COOL MAN, THEY STRAIGHT AWAY TOOK THE IDEA FROM A REGIONAL INDIAN MOVIE CALLED- VASH AND VASH 2.0, didn't even acknowledge it, so freaking disgusting.
@Dr.Zaggi_TenmaI just finished watching it and I was blown away! One of the best mystery thrillers I've seen in a long time.
@SilverMenace100Seriously I don't know the director of this movie but this is the strange and freak movie I have ever seen, this is not a rope horror like evil magic, and in the end this film doesn't make sense and there is a picture of weapons On top of the house is don't make sense
@candyqueen6045Wow what a fantastic film (a rarity these days!)
@shady2390is that based or inspired from the movie village of the demmed??
@paul77kkThis Film is F...... Crazy!!!
@carlmorris1959who's keen for the gladys prequel 😁😁😁😁
@carlospatterson4675Spoiler Alert: my review. Ok, I just watched it. I was going WTH throughout. I don’t quite get it. VERY vague and confusing. Too metaphorical and subconscious to the point of triviality. Quite bizarre. The director wrote it after his friend died and each character was a symbol of the 5 stages of grief? But, it withholds key pieces of information. Weapons meaning children are being weaponized by social media? Bad parenting? It was so slow and weird but not knowing why, the rules, the meaning, the point was frustrating as I sat there watching things happen without explanation. Nothing was scary, just weird. None of the characters were likable except maybe the principal and his partner or Alex’s parents before Gladys’ arrival. Why did just one vomit black bile while attacking? How did the kids know to go after Gladys? How’d they have superhuman strength and get not even a scratch jumping through windows and doors? Some plot holes for sure. Why the weird makeup? She looked like a clown which doesn’t exactly help her blend in. I had zero sympathy for Matthew the bully and wanted to punch him in the face. I hoped HE never talked again. This is a lot like Get Out where you don’t know how things are happening (a spoon tapping a tea cup is magic how?) because they don’t explain anything. That approach is supposed to be suspenseful? You’re just watching bizarre, strange things happen and that somehow translates to something profound, scary, or even good? Seemed like a mess to me. A prequel could go a long way in making this make more sense. Would not recommend or watch again. Sorry, but it just didn’t do it for me just like Get Out. Felt the same about Barbarian so, this is not a writer/director for me. I see why Jordan Peele was so upset he fired his manager because he lost the bidding war because this is right up his alley. 2025, with this and Sinners, the year of the very ambiguous thriller. It can be more scary to not know who the evil person is, or where they’re coming from or what they’re about if it’s grounded in reality but, when you introduce supernatural elements you have to explain something or suspension of disbelief gets strained to the breaking point.
@danieldalton6544Good idea and concept but boring execution tbh could have done much better or crazy twist at end
