New watcher here . I say I have had a pass since they were $950.00 they now call it an increda pass . So since 2008 it cost me $950.00 DVC pd in full so for the cost of $2000.00 a year me and my family and friends go as often as we want and always stay in a 1-2 bedroom we just did the 4th of July 2-2 bedrooms and points left over . We are financially locked in and Disney Land is also part of it . Plus there’s all the other nation wide - world wide participating Resort’s. No brainer not to mention , may they rest in peace the amenities it provided for my elderly parents it gave them the ability to go with us right up to the end .
They loved it said the convenience of the rm is priceless ( mini apartments)

I am all about season/annual passes to theme parks. But, a lot of people use the single day ticket price to justify the annual pass. An 8 day ticket in December with park hopper is about $984 and a 10 day is $1017. Without park hopper it's $883 and $917. The tickets get much cheaper the more days that are purchased. And for $100 more for the hopper it's a no brainer. My kid can go to Fantasmic every night and Animal Kingdom doesn't feel like a waste.
That's a lot of 40% discounts to make up the difference.
I've tried to convince my wife to go the annual pass route to make an excuse to go multiple times but she won't bite.

The only way we can even afford to go anymore is because we are annual passholders…from room discounts to not having to come up with 6 grand for every vacation.. it’s a no brainer. Out of state Incredipass holder… granted it’s very hard purchasing the annual passes all at once… wish they would let us do a payment plan
