36:39 so its going to become a virus that constantly replicates new viruses that over whelm the energy created by humans then the driods it creates builds more energy from the money that humans cerculate then the money stops mattering bc material supply is no able to keep up and then we die THE END. The point he mentioned at the minute 10:03 that is the exact point that will bring back Lovable to nowhere because they have limited the agent cap with their bad platform

Blurring dude's mouth like that is so weird and gatekeepy. 55 seconds in and I feel like i already invested too much time
More User Perspectives
so this video was about magic path and magic path and magic path and magic path?
@jeffmorton835You are all talking about Ai nobody talk about water and natural resources companies need to cool down their CITIES OF SERVERS. Soon companies will use more water sources than human populations
@Bbg-y5fThere are 2 services I quit because of Israel's ownership. Discord & OpenAI
@bambydeluxeHis palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
@coolunknown7846Bro could smell a Sunday roast on Wednesday 😂
@Phunky_Insane to think this video is worth watching....
@DJKenetixI seriously hate SAAS , can't wait for them to fail.
Also i make my own local apps for myself and poeople around me so they also become free from SAAS prisons.
“Claude is too bloated” that’s why I use Pi
@mödemlooperSurely if I put 3 guitars in the background I’m gonna become Mario Zechner.
@bald_chickenGreat job, excellent content
@TheGoobisI don’t see AI eating massive SQL based ERP systems I really don’t.
@TheInvestingGeekDavid, okay now you becoming too much focusing on clickbait than real auth content. Every week it is anew stupid BS agent or system, aint no way man. chill
@mu3076why is he wearing tape on his nose....?
@Peter-yc2uhGoogle is doing it first with Google Disco.
@viniciusjadiscke7675Lost me at 0:46
@maiznieksmaizeOdisseo looks like a good idea but not useful for the real-world flow. But AI auto-complete is cool.
@DrHumorousWhy is a Codex guy wearing a Gemini symbol on the necklace?
@DrHumorouscan somebody explain to me why and what is that thing on David's nose? I'm honestly just curious
@Sam-dh7frI am waiting to heat from 1000X developer using codex.. pfff a 100x only? Thats child play
@GabeyreI'm not convinced by AI.. it's fast. but not exactly what I want so I am back and forth with it a lot
..
there is no moat in AI tool. because at the end skills still matter . a piano can do great music. you still need skills . skills: asking better more précise prompt . ans when you are circling and circling with the agent you will have to pull out a keyboard and ... code. AI is not there yet in the world of magic. for all use case. it is good a repaying with a twist things that was already done before .
@itscooldawgdonteventripI have a handover file system that allows me to pass anything i wish to do in the coding agent in two clicks
@yy4uic415nice to get this perspective
@programroom689The future is local AI, not X amount of cloud providers.
@fredoscott2346Looks like Gemini is crushing everyone on cost. If they invest more in coding quality it would be a bloodbath
@VvvrrrmmmIt is obvious this man does not have a lot of experience working in teams. Everyone doing their own thing is not it.
@Mik1604Sounds really boring.
@braddockbrawlerLets tokens but u do its how many times before its really works and dosent make you waist time ur paid by open ai its obvious
@GlobalwarningnetworkscomThis dude is dreaming. So many people hate AI it’s going to take a lot of time before AI eats the web
@DecypherXCYour interviews get better and better as well as being highly relevant!! Thank you David - and Pietro of course!
@wentbackwardTLDR:
"Tokens are eating SaaS":
The interviewer probably asked whoever that guy is to say this so he could use it as clickbait; all the relevant conversation regarding that phrase summarizes to one of those "in the future, SaaS will be replaced by agents" tweets.
"Watch this 100x developer use Codex… it’s insane":
He's using an expensive model to plan a task and a cheap one to execute it. This is apparently revolutionary because for some reason, in the 1000x efficiency era, chat interfaces still haven't implemented switching models mid-conversation.
He also re-discovered keyboard macros, which laughably is the only real "100x" in the video, a feature that's been around since the last millennium.
Edit: punctuation.
Tokens eating companies budget
@gianpaologaratti104100x..so you get 1 years worth of work done in 3.65 days?
@chris_bjj123Haha 😂 what he is describing about codex sdk and browser events - claude code is already doing that 😂
And this guy will tell us the future??? 😂😂😂
this was a nice interview, especially the typing complete feature
@kbenk108Watched the whole thing. Most of it is two builders agreeing with each other about how AI changes everything. The "only moat is brand and community" / "SaaS is dying" stuff is the standard founder-incentive talking point, and Pietro's plainly talking his own book (he's shipping a Codex-integrated product). Take the strategy half with salt.
That said, two tactical bits were worth the runtime: (1) the keyboard text-replacement prompt library. Short triggers like debug/PR expanding to full prompts, OS-synced so they work across Codex/Cursor/Claude Code and on mobile; and (2) plan with a high-reasoning model using an "explain it to a junior dev, then write the plan for that junior" prompt, then switch to a cheap model to execute. Both are usable today regardless of what you think of the rest.
Net: skip to the workflow segment (~36:47+), skim the philosophy.
WHAT is it on your nose? New fashion or medical condition?
@VirtualOrangesSo, you basically advise people to build on top of Codex SDK (assuming this exists) and feed all your data and context to Codex. What about gouvernance ? Data privacy? You mentioned a legal company without any UI - how do you serve it to an enterprise and make it production ready without proper UI and monitoring?
“Agent ready” is great as a concept however we do know that most agents that looked great during a demo , broke completely during go-live due to an enormous amount of unsupervised/managed Tech Debts.
Anyone who can draft a prompt in NPL can build a “cool” demo but most of them are lacking basic knowledge of infrastructure,cloud DevOps, DB operations,IDE knowledge, security, performance, error handling,UX and the list goes on.
I think that AI is the next best thing after the internet that happened to mankind but it’s also greatly lowering the bar , gradually . Everything I write is based on my own personal experience after having built conversational and autonomous agents and shipped them to one of the most demanding community where there’s literally 0 room for mistakes.
Truth is, 100% agentic workflows is great as a concept but the deterministic path isn’t anywhere close to die and has to be incorporated as a safeguard, at all times.
What is your token:ratio ? in vs out?
I have claude code max, and my ratio the last 7 days on Opus 4.8 In (prompt i give): 7.4m · Out: 35.0m that is a 1m In (answer opus give): 4,73m Out ratio
And I got 84k+ lines of solid rust code, and15k+ c++ working together
these people are clowns, no meat to the discussion
@chadgrant8870You showed a chart on screen and claimed it showed codex crushing, but codex wasn't even on the graph. What the dirty nonsense is that?
@maddad26You guys realize the future is people just using AI to build their own apps, theres no money in this were the money paying for it
@Lazyeyez-kmdaGreat interview. I noticed MCP and "free" wasn't mentioned once tho.
@joshd265this is insane
@kralikiWhile I agree with all the principles overall, I don't understand what Pietro is trying to sell with Magicpath - another AI website builder or what? :-)
