War or peace: Which way is the Middle East crisis heading?

Is the Middle East crisis poised on the brink of peace or is this just another episode of hope and expectation that may not lead anywhere? What do we know of the terms of the potential deal? Who benefits most from it? And where does the outcome leave the United States, Israel, the Gulf States and Iran? Those are the issues I shall raise today, Monday 15th June, at 6:30 p.m. (9:00 a.m. in Washington DC) with the Majid Khaddouri Professor of International Affairs and Middle East Studies at Johns Hopkins University and the author of Iran’s Grand Strategy: A Political History, Vali Nasr.

@BitZealBrilliant interview that gave great insights on the proposed Iran-US MoU to end the war and West Asia crisis. Prof Vali's prediction of Pakistan could be given a major role in the region soon; Iran becoming closer to Pakistan among others will surely cause New Delhi uneasiness. And sadly, the Indian regime not officially or publicly condoling the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader by US-Israel strikes are hard facts which have distanced Iran from India. USA attempted a knock-out blow Venezuela style which failed in Iran. Next strategy is a long siege, similar to Syria & Lebanon to erode the country bit by bit. Iranians have to quickly work with allies + BRICS to stabilize their society, to upgrade their Airforce, etc.

Any agreement SIGNED or UNSIGNED with Uncle Sam's America is WORTHLESS considering how the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to ensure that Iran's nuclear program will be exclusively peaceful, underwritten by the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the European Union (EU), and Iran was torn to pieces, (ignoring the commitments solemnly entered into under international laws ) , by the same man (a convicted felon under US laws) who is expected to sign the agreement on the anvil now.
