@lizs2414I am from Vancouver and the city sucks, only reason worth coming is for the lakes and the hiking and the snow sports outside of Vancouver - and if you’re rich! I have met so many young travelers here trying to find places they can afford to stay at night (I’ve let a few spend a couple of nights with me 😅) while London and Milan had an abundance of clean and beautiful hostels for unreasonable but manageable prices. I have always been bored as a young person living in this city, but I didn’t truly hate it until I visited London and Milan and realized that places just as expensive as Vancouver can be fun with many places to explore and things to try/experience by jumping on super clean and spacious public transportation. Yes, the skytrain is suppose to smell like piss and B.O :) I always thought at least I was lucky to live somewhere with access to great vegetarian and vegan food, London had better. Be careful not to trip over a person the government pushed into homelessness 👍🏽 did you know the drug addicts on the streets have animals with them in order to test out their drugs on them to make sure the drugs are safe to take? Enjoy the visual!
@NaeouSo cool to see you give a travel tips video on the place where you were born and raised! Obviously, being from Vancouver yourself surely made this video a lot more straightforward because you know the city by heart haha :) Anyway, great video, and I might even consider visiting your hometown someday (although that's easier said that done for me, considering that I live in NYC so a flight there is roughly 6 hours!).

@puddinheads1984I fell in love with Vancouver as a child in the early 80’s and was able to move out to Vancouver Island 20 years ago. Due to the high BC Ferries prices, I don’t get to Vancouver as much as I want, but I jump over whenever I can. If you did a video just on food it would still be ridiculously long…you could eat a different cuisine every day for a month.
Great video as always…glad you were finally able to make a trip about your hometown…sometimes it’s hard to share our local gems :)
I've been interested in visiting Vancouver because it's a common connection to fly to Japan lol!
