Though many intend on visiting Vancouver Island, few wanderers actually make the journey. Those that do, however, are met with an unforgettable reward. Be welcomed by friendly people and unique culture, discover refreshing solitude as you wind through misty trails beneath old growth forests and witness the ferocious power of the Pacific on the West Coast’s jagged headlands. Most of all, reconnect with that inner wild spirit that craves the thrill of Mother Nature at her finest. These are just a few of the many reasons a #visit to #VancouverIsland should be on everyone’s list.

They missed Beacon Hill Park.

Perhaps the narrator should research how to pronounce the names of the towns properly….
(Coh-eee-chin??? No, no, no! Cow-ih-chin, being one )
And specify that this video is a very small portion of Van Isle! So much more to offer than what has been shown!

Amateur landscape photographer here...any recommendations as to where to go, other than the places mentioned in this video? I'm 70 years old, and I can't hike very far, or do sharp elevation gains (bummer, right?) My wife and I will probably want to stay in or near Victoria, so photo destinations 1-2 hours drive away are desirable. Thanks for your replies.

Come to the north shore of Lake Superior to Thunder Bay area. It's is just as scenic as Vancouver Island and no risk of megathrust earthquake and affordable to live or visit
