Im a fan of van halen and van haggar idgaf. Technically the same band i know. But both eras had amazing songs.

Let me explain, in my opinion, the difference between the two singers: Van Halen with David Lee Roth was a group in which David placed himself on a pedestal and they were the backing band, while with Sammy they were all on the same level as people, regardless of who they were or how they played. Why do I say this? Well, watch a concert with David and you'll see people playing under the influence of the minstrel, while with Sammy you'll see everyone playing with enormous joy in what they were doing, each one having their say. It's so obvious it's impossible not to notice. Then, given the changes over the years, it's clear that not even the Van Halen brothers themselves were aware of the differences, dazzled by the minstrel. Unfortunately, that's how it went, and we take the best from each period. However, watching them during Sammy's time, honestly, I never felt like I wish I could have been one of them on those stages. Thank you for everything, because every time I hear your songs I get so excited...

@mattfisher8568Highlight of my life was on my 21st birthday I was at Van Halen, Eddie was in a cast so he couldn't jump around which normally I would have been bummed out but he was in front of me! I got to tell him how much I loved him. Rip my hero.
