Netflix has a different version available depending on where you are. The streaming site picks up your location from your IP address when you connect. This means that as you travel you'll be presented with different versions irrespective of your nationality.

However there is a way where you can decide which version of Netflix you can see irrespective of your location. It's possible by using something called a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to hide your real location and swap it for another one. So if you connect to a Japanese VPN server then you'll appear to have a Japanese IP address. When you then connect to Netflix it's the Japanese version you'll be presented with. This is perfect for example if you want to access things like Anime which are on the Japanese version of Netflix, although remember being able to speak Japanese will be useful!
