As I am an aspirant of prelims 2026 , it is of concern that due to the uncertainity and randomness of the upsc 2026 prelims , there are many aspirants who would be scoring well above the cut-off in the gs 1 paper , but in csat they are scoring less because of the unprecedented changes they brought in the format of the papers by reducing the number of comprehensions and making them more complex . By just reducing cutoff in Gs1 paper and not reducing csat cutoff, many deserving candidates will be left out and it will be a big blow to them and less deserving candidates will be selected. Upsc should consider this and reduce the cutoff for csat as well or allow aspirants scoring well above the cut-off in gs1 some leniency in csat as well. Moreover the students who were having the last attempt and are grinding from 5-6 years will be deeply affected by this prelims

i disagree with Sarmad Sir when he said only 3rd statement is correct. officer has the duty for recommending contractor's removal even though allegations are not proven. It is public money after all and recommendation alone will not remove the person as it allows for departmental inquiry over the contractor and he will have sufficient platform to prove his case innocent. Hence will not violate PNJ.

Q38
Statement 2 may be right, but how does it independently support the assertion?
It only supports the assertion when read together with Statement 1 and that too very imaginatively
More User Perspectives
2:39:00 Statement 2 does not support the object of Statement I. It is irrelevant if it points towards agriculture because the object of Statement I. is movement away from river plains because of groundwater availability, not to convey that agriculture existed.
@vedantyelmalle2439At 2:13:24 they asked not correct 👀

@GurpreetSingh-xb1ibscientists fully change the DNA sequence of viruses and bacteria.
1. The Scale of the Blueprint
Bacteria and Viruses: They have incredibly tiny genomes. A virus might only have a few thousand letters of genetic code, and a simple bacterium has around 500,000. In 2010, scientists at the J. Craig Venter Institute successfully typed out a bacterium's entire DNA on a computer, chemically built it in a lab, and injected it into a cell to create the world's first synthetic living organism.
I had attended Abhishek sirs classes and also referred to his book. While the history questions were difficult but I could solve many of them through these materials. Sir had also said ancient will have difficult questions,so I was mentally prepared. Thank you Abhishek sir 🙏
