Video Overview & Insights
Firefighters in southeastern Texas battled a blaze at a decommissioned power plant that sent large plumes of smoke into the air Sunday morning. Texas will not be the heavy fuel fueling a dead electric future of psychopathic ideas and unnatural ideas of what life should be.
@z.m.nl-p5mLooks like it's the plant at coordinates P15RUN0761464125, so that smoke blew right into the heart of Houston...hopefully it went up and over.
@texasaggiegigsemJust insure its replaced with US built and owned. No foriegners.
@Ralph-dt5gsIf you go out to Google Maps and look at the site of the power plant, you can see the cooling towers that caught on fire. Given their age, I would not be surprised if there is a lot of wood in the structure that consists of creosoted timbers and lumber.
At about 3:30 into the video the news reader does state that it the old cooling towers that caught on fire.
I am thinking arson.
At about 4:30, I wonder what the white smoke/haze is from that it is coming up in the foreground.
somebody didn't wanna pay to haul off that old PCB oil. wonder how that smells?
@we4selradio591Gee, easiest way to avoid paying for the removal of outdated and obsolete equipment. Typical scam. Who wants to bet that old power transformers full of PVBs are the black smoke plume?
@andyevans2336I'd like to know what is fuelling this fire, just in case someone wants to build a city around an old power station here in Australia!
@lindageorgeishereIf this was Australia, I'd say it was an illegal demolition!
@lindageorgeishereMSDNC is blaming trump
@sp4604hi young Christian lady named Sabrina I will pray that everyone is okay and no damage done that is equipment that they need
888... and the contaminants not discussed in the smoke is being pushed up to Houston, TX. This sucks.
@aggierazHow many Mosques are in Texas now? ....are they practicing?.....asking for a friend.
@_JimSWill not be surprised if the fire started in the battery storage area.
@CNPrepIt is called negligence.
@ajett5081Karma
@dehilmabahadur8769People from Houston we need to in investigate.
@Zammie-r4cWe need to watch that 😮 houston 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯
@Zammie-r4c😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
@Zammie-r4cIf this is the location I found on Google maps, there IS no power plant there - it was razed years ago. The only things left were the old wood cooling towers, which accounts for the intensity of the fires.
@whiteknightcatAs a former firefighter from the East Coast. That continued deeply black smoke appears to be fossil fuel driven (oil, gasoline, etc.) Looks like tanks burning.
@JimBateman-k1jNow …that is quite a bit of Carbon (Burned debris ) going up in the “ Atmosphere “ … parts per cubic mm … Clean up and reconstituted the soil ; then Plant Some Trees 🌲 …Make it a local 4H project for our younger generations.😃
@Cherub-v3hAmazing how long they can talk and not say anything.
@shufflerp3868Decommissioned? What the hell were they storing in it for it to burn like that?
@barneymiller7894If you, like me, immediately suspected a burning battery storage power plant, you may relieve your overactive (like mine) imaginations - Google maps satellite pictures show a multi-turbine natural gas power plant.
@BeechComerOlder plant , newer peaker.
Plant used in case of " black start" , er, would have been used to facilitate restart of other plants in the event of system or system wide outages. No power no power generation.
It can cause Respiratory Issues for Everyone, especially those with Respiratory Issues, the Elderly, Children & Animals whose lungs are very small
@angelaavery4264paid for by soros and son gates schwab bloomberg rothchild
@RickFinnstromAt least it was decommissioned.
The last thing we need in texas is fewer functioning power plants.
Arson should be a suspect on the calls of the fire
@benniehazelwood9276Terrorism? Q
@craighurt3671Obviously burned on purpose to clean the site
@dennisbethards3231Texas let Islamic terrorist move in and their already shouting, Sharia law. They will burn Texas to the ground. You have a cancer that needs attention ASAP. Wake up Texas, your NYPD is already flying a Palestine Flag.
@chriscorbin1055What the hell is burning this telling me that is it that cancer agent that they put in transformers that oil
@JohnJohnsonTforTexasAhh, if decommissioned blows my thought; I wondered whether they had tried powering up a data centre and overheated transformers with the current drawn.
@TwoBassedSounds like an insurance scam going on with these things - you get more money because some of that unsellable equipment gets full retail if burned/destroyed...
@WeTheLittlePeopleI’m noticing a pattern…
@Bricktown982thats luekemia in the air right there. u will want to get out of that area for a few years
@AllineveryhandHydrocarbon fire - fuel oil
@Badhands55That is a lot of air pollution.
@finn3408Only Jesus Saves...
@lawrencecoffeyjr1300Lol no da morons
@zackarymiller7084Just in time for winter! Hopefully texas can beat its record of 30-50 people and children freezing to death in their home every winter!!! :D
@lordhokage2717Arson 4 sure!
@D4leBryantRace hate, make no bones about it
@DavidHuber63No hazardous particulates in the air she says. You’ve got to be dumb to believe that lie.
