I have a Google Fi phone and have traveled many places in Europe and in Asia and when I land I turn on my phone and it works. I don't deal with any sim cards or some app in order for my phone to connect. Never had an issue or problem ever in the past 5 years since I have had it.

Thanks for a good review again. I am actually pretty shocked at the pre-arrival snack in economy class on the LHR to RUH segment. I was expecting at least a warmed savory wrap. The Ice cream bar looks luxury but the popcorn is just tacky. I don't expect a full meal (but for a day time flight, it is actually okay) but at least a proper hot snack tray with a savory wrap and the ice cream bar.

Interessant, wie unterschiedlich die Flugerfahrungen doch sein können. Auf meinem Flug hatten Groundstaff und die Crew keinerlei Probleme damit, dass ich filme, auch ohne vorherigen Kontakt mit PR. Im Gegenteil schienen sie sehr happy darüber, mir alles im Flugzeug zeigen zu können/dürfen.

It’s Saudi run😂 they can throw all the money in the world to try and change the narrative against them but it’s not going to work… there is a reason why even other GCC countries hate them.

As someone who lived in the GCC and a lot of my family have lived and still live there, Saudi will forever be the worst place if you are not a Muslim. Every other country like Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, UAE and Kuwait are open and welcoming to outsiders but not Saudi and I hate to say it but the reason why you get treated well in Saudi is because you are white and clearly a European tourist. I’m brown and that shit doesn’t work like that lol, my mother was hurled abuse for wearing jeans and a T shirt which is very normal in other countries within the GCC but ofc Saudi have a problem. I'm surprised a seasoned traveler like you hasn't noticed this before! Chip bags puff up on planes because of Boyle's Law, basically, the air inside the bag expands as the cabin pressure drops. The crew did a great job opening it. but if you ever need to open one yourself, just do it slowly and you'll be fine. There is no risk of mortal injury. Hahaha!
