@terrymilner8575Problem with most Lawyer shows (yes this is a good show but) is that the lawyers suddenly become NBI investigators. And in a way the problem with some cop shows is that the cops suddenly become something else.
@shogrranIn the later seasons, the show became a drama with everyone more concerned about each other's feeling and Harvey spectre aura farming in every scene.
The initial seasons were oh so good.

@redredline5735In this scenario, the tenant wouldn’t be withholding rent, they are redistributing the rent to pay for the required repairs to ensure tenancy the landlord failed to meet. No escrow needed in that case because you’re not withholding rent pending an outcome of a dispute.

What he did do hwoever is prove that once case was closed. that the opposing party commited crimes and lied in court, however this wasn't ever shown as a victory in court. IT was an out of court resolution. So you could say it was a settlement of the first case at best, not a victory in court.
While the unqualified is technically correct, nothing in the video says he was unqualified nor that he hadn't passed the bar exam. So the title again is misleading.

@davids.8509It Was Actually His Second Try: While the clip is titled "Unqualified Lawyer Wins His First Case," Mike actually loses his first pro-bono housing court case earlier in the same episode because he failed to bring proper evidence.
