okay, so practicly my doctor was totally wrong the moment that he procceded to clean the ear wax 2nd time in a month and found nothing so he examinated a test in a special room and ended up to a conclusion that my hearing loss is inherated and thats why the percentage of loss is the same in both ears?

Someone slapped me when i was a kid and my ear was bleeding and my ear drum was ruptured after that i couldn't hear anything from one ear. Local Doctor said it would hear again after my ear drum is heald. My parents did not so any others procedures. Now my ears drum is healed and i still can't hear anything from that ear. I would like to know if i parmanentaly lost it or i need some test.

Zero to Finals Paediatrics audiobook:

Mild SSNHL since childhood illnesses (mumps, measles, chicken pox) in the mid-1950โ€™s. Only noticeable when thereโ€™s background noise - had to really focus and do a little lip-reading. Earlier this year woke up to almost total deafness in one ear accompanied by low roaring and various sounds (tinnitus). Ear canal felt numb or swollen, but that has cleared up somewhat. Have seen two different doctors (neuro-otologist and ENT). Neuro diagnosed โ€˜Bellโ€™s Palsy of the earโ€™. I have no other symptoms - no facial drooping, nothing. Anybody ever hear of this?

No treatment, other than a course of Prednisone which helped some, was done due to delays by the doctorโ€™s office. ENT turned out to be a friend of the neuro and simply agreed with the diagnosis even though he had never heard of it before. Since Bellโ€™s can take 10-12 months to clear up (if it does at all), Iโ€™m waiting to see if this does.

I am still searching for the problem of hearing loss caused suddenly due to relentless blowing of nose. Can blowing of nose cause permanent hearing loss? No specialists have diagnosed this problem. what could be the cause of loss of hearing and how it turned to be inner hearing loss?

Itโ€™s funny how I can see ear, nose, throat specialist and travel 2 hrs and sit in office and not one of these tests was talked about or given, thatโ€™s what happens when you are 68 and people just going through the motions, I lost hearing in left ear suddenly overnight and rings a little, once in a while hearing seems to get a little better, then goes back to nothing almost
