You people got it backward. Salah did not use Slot as his excuse. Slot used Salah as the excuse.
The problem when you use a playing legend as your scapegoat is you must win. The moment he did not was his end. Because his players now think if he did this to Salah to protect himself, no other player is safe.

What annoys me with many pundits who come up on my streaming channels is that they defend Slot by swapping seasons. If we had this season with last season results we would still have been calling for Slot's head. It's the way they have been playing, not as much the results which cause upset. There has been no structure this season and the football is yawn!
