Zoo Station is such an underrated song. It doesn't sound or feel like a U2 song. Yet, it only could be created by them.

It's one of the GOAT albums ever, as U2 are as a band

This album plus the ZOOTV tour was just pure amazing. This was what a stage tour used to look like.

One more note ,the mayor of the town in Tinley Psrk received so many calls complaints of the noise ,too funny . What an experience Bush was in office at the time,long ago.

Probably the best concert I ever attended, incredible.. I have been very fortunate to see U2 several times absolutely love their music. The adapted with the times ,still succeeded guess one main reason for their success. Fan since the 80s

I was in Australia on holiday when Achtung Baby came out, and it seemed a bit of a shock at first but I remember being in a record shop in Surfers Paradise and they had these listiening posts set up for different new releases and you could listen on headphones. And I put them on and the first song I heard was One, and I thought its still U2 and this is such a great song and I immediately went up to the counter and bought a copy and ever since then its always one of my go to albums. Its just a magnificent record by a band at the height of its creativity and power.

My first U2 album I bought was Achtung Baby when I was 16 in 1991. Then I went backwards. I saw the Outside Broadcast in DC in August of 1992 and it is the best concert I’d ever been to since.

This sparks a bad memory of a gig in the Vicente Calderón stadium in Madrid, 1993. I went there with a lot of anticipation looking forward to the band that had made The Joshua Tree sing those beautiful anthems, and instead I found a dizzying bunch of screens throwing out senseless images and words, and "mcMephisto" doing telephone calls and singing weird songs which didn't match the spirit the band had spread before. I was really disappointed.

Some songs in 'Achtung' are quite good, but it's a much overhyped album, lacking real substance in music and message.

Was so blind at what what they were really pushing. Eg, humiliation ritual at 35:14 and with Bono's support of the WEF. Edge's support of abrotien and the whole lgb+ agenda.

I love all the little juxtapositions of different performances of the same song over the years. That's some masterful editing. I don't know if this documentary is an official one or fan based, but it's really well done!

That dubbed version of Love is Blindness is brilliant. Also, how great was that cover version of The Fly? Great documentary.

German band neu! Are the best! And one of the most influential bands to have existed!.

Not sure why U2 was never able to match this quality before of after. This is their only album I can listen to.

Amazing documentary, incredible mixing. Achtung Baby is and will always be one of the best rock albums ever recorded. I can't believe the effect it still has on me 34 years later.

This album had such an effect on me, similar albums for me "Mechanical Animals", "Older", "King Creole". This album is beyond amazing.

My story. I remember when Achtung Baby came out. I was 14, I had loved Rattle and Hum and the Joshua Tree. Some of the older stuff as well, but for that I was a bit too young. And there was a bit of a break, and we wondered whether U2 was finished. Then Achtung Baby hit the shelves. In one of the newspapers the reviewer rolled a 1 on the dice! And we didn’t understand ANYTHING! What had happened to this great band we loved? Slowly, and a year later, I fell more in love with R.E.M. and their Out of Time. But this Achtung Baby glam rock thing with its sexy sounds.. There was something about it that wouldn’t let go. And so I FINALLY realized what a masterpiece the album is and was. And when my new heroes in R.E.M. changed their outfits for the Monster album I was thinking «so you finally caught up, huh?» U2 had changed the landscape. Rock music wouldn’t be the same again.
I never saw them live, but I taped a Sydney show from the Zoo TV tour on VHS. Saw that tape until it fell apart.
I now think this is one of the best rock albums of all time.

After loving U2 through Boy,October,War,Under a blood red sky,The Unforgettable fire,The Joshua tree and Rattle and Hum ,Achtung Baby was the supreme expression of their powers, to me there was nowhere for them to go. They were never going to get anywhere near their past body of work and that's where me and U2 parted, on a glorious high!!

My favorite band since 1983 ❤❤

There was a great thread to this documentary, and some wonderfully creative editing. I think it would've benefited immensely from cutting the interminably long 'fan' sections down significantly (most of which irritated me after 2 minutes of their waffling), and playing the whole of each song slowed the pace down far too much. It could've been a very tight, professional 60 minute documentary. But those are just my thoughts, it was clearly made with a lot of love and respect for the band.

I was a U2 DIEHARD fan leading up to AB. I was a senior in HS when AB was released. I couldn't wait! And then I put it on, and when I heard the opening of Zoo Station, I thought there was some kind of mistake. This was industrial, clanking, loud... basically, not my U2. But I let it play (CDs at the time) and I was mesmerized. A completely different sound, but just under the surface were the beautiful melodies. For me, it was The Fly that I kept coming back to. It's funny, playing the album now it surprises me how jarring I found it back then b/c of how much beauty is on the album (Ultra Violet, Love is Blindness, One, etc). And I went to a few of the ZooTv shows (introducing me to Pixies!) and my musical life changed forever. Funny, b/c I never liked another U2 album like that again. It closed the U2 chapter for me, but that's ok... it's still so special to have that time of Joshua, War, Boy, Fire, Under a Blood Red, and then AB.

loved this album...when albums were a thing. After JT didn't think it was possible to better. and it wasn't instead they changed direction but with the same soul and passion as previous. showed change was a good thing.

I know the pandemic wreaked havoc on everything including the music industry but I hate that it robbed us of a proper AB! /ZooTV anniversary tour. Yes, the Sphere shows were good but small scale. That album deserved a stadium grade world tour event like they did with the Joshua tree concerts. Oh well, it's still my favorite U2 album. Get well soon Larry !

One is my all time favourite song. Still listen to it today. It brings me so much joy. Thank you U2 for your incredible music
