My mom had TB she got it in the 1950s when she was a teenager she was treated in a TB ward the TB left a scar on one of her lungs, she was getting chest x-rays every year.

Tfs,Dr Jen❤👩🏽‍⚕️. My nephews stationed in Kansas where the biggest outbreak is💔🤦🏾‍♀️. We really need to go back to masks. I try to be careful but I’m getting over a virus,too, after 4 RXs,a celestone shot & a breathing treatment. One of my sisters lived in Japan for several years in the 90s. When she lived there she said if someone had a respiratory illness, they wore a mask in public.

My late husband had latent TB. He NEVER had to be treated though ... And I never caught it.
