All this does is create way to look at already existing data and allow investment companies to learn your contact information. The government matching contribution is a Biden policy that Trump will say was his idea.
Of course, this "new" plan assumes lower income Americans have something left to invest after paying for the higher healthcare, energy and food prices Trump has caused with his reckless policies.

The plan was actually signed by Biden and was scheduled to take effect in 2027. It gives away up to $1000 matching federal dollars each year to individuals earning less than $35,500 and couples earning $71,000. Trump only added a gov portal (which bears his name of course) which recommends investment companies. I really believe Trump 2.0 just may exceed the record deficit spending of Trump 1.0.

Please read what he is doing, don't go by this outlet. This Order doesn't cost the country anything, because the $1000 was under Biden and what this is is effectively a government website that directs you to private options and uses the $1000 money under Biden. He hasn't done anything, this is a stunt.

Second, I've been low income. $165 per month for anyone truly low income is a lot of money not spent on something vital. This feels like more hype than solution.
