I’ve loved Travis since the early 2000’s. Although this is a great song, it has no particular meaning to me, it’s just a really good song. That was until 4 weeks ago when I was in my local Tesco & started playing over the tannoy. How ironic. I was ok for a minute but then it hit me. I said to my sister, I’ve got to get out of here and I started crying. Luckily I had sunglasses on my head and was able to cover my eyes as I made a sharp exit. I got back to my van & was an emotional wreck for a few minutes. The thing was, my beloved 17 year old dog Rocky had died 3 days earlier😢 I know this song well but the lyrics got me bad that afternoon. I could still cry at the drop of a hat for my baby boy. Love ya Rockstar😘❤️

Travis are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, backing vocals) and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). The band's name comes from the character Travis Henderson (played by Harry Dean Stanton) from the film Paris, Texas (1984).
