Green tea has less caffeine than coffee, in case anyone is looking for an alternative

— @seand1011

Dr. Berg talks about the benefit of drinking green tea. Green and black tea comes from the same exact plant. Black tea is more fermented and green tea is not.

Green tea has phytochemicals and plant-based chemicals that give unique health properties that go beyond vitamins and minerals.

Hello Dr Eric Berg, and to all who is reading my comments right now. I am basically from Afghanistan, and we have been drinking green teas 4 to 5 times a day without sugar this is the main reason why most of Afghans are not fat or may be its because of the weather or water we drink. Dr Berg I am your hug fan, and I have been following almost all your videos and learned a lot thanks for being there to help us get healthy and fit.

This is so confusing. I cannot do green tea or coffee because the tannins hurt my legs really bad and depletes me of B1. So why even recommend it! Makes no sense to me at all Dr.Berg. I am super sensitive!

For many years I've felt my immunity was low, every cold would give me horrible symptoms and would take me triple the time to get over compared to friends/family. Talked to doctors, with them it was always blood test (which was normal) then take vitamin C, get some excercise > none of that noticably helped.

About a year ago my job changed, and I got in the habit of drinking up to 5 cups of green tea per day.

After 8 months, I noticed I hadn't really been sick in a while, or if i caught something it was just a mild tickle in the throat for a couple of days and thats it. Immunity seemed better than my family members.

I realised the biggest change was my tea drinking habit, which prompted me to read up on the immunity benefits. Science shows its a thing. I was kind of shocked that such a simple thing could have such a huge impact on my health. So...I will forever advocate on the immunity benefits of green tea.

Over the entirity of my life..64 years, i must have easily drunk 50,000 mugs of black tea, with milk. Last week, for the first time, i started drinking green tea, without milk. Absolutely heinous, intil i added fout cloves, per mug and some xylitol for sweetness. Then it became quite respectable. Stlli having 3 mugs per day of black tea, bit adding one mug of green to the mix now.

Based from what I learned Dr. If you've insulin resistance, you'd rather lose weight. Because your body could not store glucose to your cells to metabolize energy. Instead, it would rather eat up your own fats and then muscles because it's starving for energy.

I'm not able to go anywhere near anything containing caffeine, my body just reacts to it. Dr. Berg says that there are decaffeinated versions. Problem is that most decaffeinated versions of coffee, etc. are done via a chemical process. Are there organic versions of the decaffeinated green tea tablets?

@Rivkah.nbdg.ast.NazareneIsrael

Now I'm confident to try a capsule with green tea in it because of you Dr.

Thank you so much for the wonderful video! I’ve really enjoyed all your caffeine and caffeine-food source videos, though I’ve stopped caffeine for now (even with its other benefits), and if I ever decide to reintroduce it, I know exactly where to find you. Your work is truly appreciated and inspiring!

I viewed this as a recommendation from the video cautioning us to the dangers between Japanese. Chinese, plus something about vitamin B being affected. With so many videos, it becomes a hare & hound race to be shuttled from to another & leaves me wondering what next.

@yellowrose9355

I’d encourage anyone who’s gonna drink green tea to:
1. Look into the tablet form, as it may not be what you thought.
2. Look into the toxic chemicals in the tea bags and the fact that once you put hot water on them, the chemicals end up in your cup and in your body. Also, the content of the bag: compare the powder to actual green tea leaves- big difference!
