I am reading a lot of the comments and the general consensus is that no-body knows the music or calls it terrible music. I will say one thing, most of these songs in this video aren't my taste and hence i don't like them. The same rhetoric I hear all the time is that its all "bad" music simply because its not your taste. Same way as some people may not like food that others do, its like judging a person on their interests, which is the lowest low that somebody goes. The music genre has changed, and it changes with the times. Those people who grew up with Rock will enjoy Rock, or heavy metal depending on the era they were born. Those same people got the same flack from their elders as their elders grew up listening to different music. Music is not timeless, and some people are just going to have to accept the fact that the music nowadays isn't the same as the 80s, or the 200s or the 2010s, because heavens forbid we aren't even in that era any more. Most people in this comment section will like a few others do not and that is okay, even though all of you are saying the exact same thing. And to those who try to come off as having a better music taste simply because they don't listen to things that are mainstream, those same songs will have probably come off as mainstream at the time of release. Anything mainstream becomes mainstream because people actually like the music, which most you watching this video do not but its the simple fact that more do. It becomes tiring because radios (or influencers) know how to make money and pump out the same music over and over again because they know that music is popular and you people grow tired. I understand the feeling of not having your favourite artist be played a lot and its simply because a lot of people dont like that kind of music, or its not their taste.
