I think there must be something wrong with me, because I hated Mad Men. No show has ever bored me more. I didn't like or care about a single character. Great costumes and set design, but I really don't get why everyone likes this show so much.

@fairamir1I know that there are many, many, many shows that weren't on the list, but the ones that surprised me the most were The Cosby Show, and I understand why. Bill Cosby is a truly horrible person, and for some people it's hard to separate the artist from the work. That being said, the show is a classic sitcom. 40 years after it was aired, I still laugh hysterically at the episode "Happy Anniversary", especially the "Night Time is the Right Time" scene. That scene alone should've put the show on the list.
The other is Friday Night Lights. I really expected that one to make the list.
Some others include ER, South Park, Black Mirror, Atlanta, the original Star Trek, The West Wing, Roots, Modern Family, Will & Grace, 30 Rock and The Jeffersons are just a few that I could think of.
Iam glad you included 24 but i wish Prison break was included too
