That’s one of the things I love about the Scream franchise. It breaks the horror trope.
In Scream 4, the victims that died are actually a movie in a movie.
In Scream 5, the victim survives and not to mention everything in the home has high technology.
In Scream 6, the victim is a teacher that dies in the hands of one of her students that takes off the mask until he meets his demise by the real GhostFace.
In Scream 7, Randy’s home became a popular attraction for people to visit but a couple got the lifetime of getting scared to death and being on fire

@rtypepeHot take here, but Frailty is not that good of a movie. Do the twists work? Yeah, sure, and there’s enough details foreshadowing them. It’s a good movie for sure, but I think most people think it punches way above its weight class. Perhaps because it’s a Bill Paxton passion project. Cuz I can say from experience that it was not nearly as appreciated when it came out, but after we lost Bill it was reevaluated with a different perspective

But the diamond was not inside the dog “the entire time.” Through a series of events, Vinny, Saul, and Tyrone find it. When Avi and Tony catch up to them, they lied and said the dog swallowed it when it was actually down Robbie’s pants. When it looked like Tony was about to kill the dog, Vinny confessed he had it, and Avi looks at it through a jeweler’s thingamajig before the dog swallows it for real.

@lisal29I don't think Adam really could see evil, imo the twist was that he succumbed to the same delusions and replaced Fulton after, most likely developed dissociative identity disorder as the result of the trauma.

@Shrider_180Friday the 13th - Jason rising from the water was a nightmare Alice has in the hospital. The sequels reveal, of course, that Jason never drowned at all and was alive the entire time. If you ever watched the original, there was someone or something always lurking in the woods watching the events unfold. Jason, of course.
