@itsdaltonLOOLL WICKED???? Even in top 20 omg you clearly miss and empathy with people who gonna see movies
@EddyFeyenWe were all shocked by how great Thunderbolts* was. It hit a lot of people hard for anyone who has went through depression in their life, including myself. Everyone agrees it's one of the best films that deals with characters battling depression. I'm excited to see more of the Thunderbolts in the MCU. This was truly one of the better films in the Multiverse Saga. They say how The Suicide Squad is basically the DC's version of the Guardians of the Galaxy. But honestly, the Thunderbolts is truly Marvel's version of the Suicide Squad.
WEAPONS is now my favorite horror movie. When I first saw the trailer, I wasn't sure about it, but of course I still wanted to know what happened to the children. But then I began hearing people saying how it's better than SINNERS. I was shocked by that statement since people said how SINNERS is the future of horror. I then watched the trailer for WEAPONS again and decided that I did indeed need to see it. When I went to see it, I missed the first three or four minutes because my food at the concession stand took too long. But I didn't miss that much anyway. Just until the ending of the kids running in the night just before the child narrator talked about the camera footage capturing them. But I was blown away by how great the movie was. So much that I decided that I had to see it again. And when I found out that it was on IMAX, I knew I had to see it on there. But I mainly went to see it just to see the first few minutes that I missed. And while I knew what was coming with the scary moments, the experience was truly better the second time because of it being on IMAX. Before I saw the movie, many people like me were thinking that aliens were probably involved. But having it deal with witchcraft instead was still genius. And I'm so excited to see the prequel about Gladys. While behind the scenes videos has the writers explaining some ideas they have to where Gladys found that little tree on an island or in a jungle somewhere, we'll actually get to see it happen. Oh, and a lot of people don't know this, but this movie actually takes place in the same universe as BARBARIAN. If you go onto the website the studio created about submitting any information about the missing children, there's an article to the side to click on that talks about the underground lair that's inspected by police after Tess tells them about it. It makes me wonder if the director will connect more of his movies as a shared universe. And I don't know if it was just the prequel, but the director did say he had another idea for a continuation, so I don't know if that means he has an idea also for a sequel. If he does have an idea for a sequel that's good enough, I'm up for it!
I wasn't surprised about absence of Nuremberg until the very end, because I was expecting it to be No.1
Not being in top 25 is beyond me
I came here to find something to watch today evening. Through the year i was pissed of very low imdb rated movies so i thought i was lame. After watching the top 20 movies of 2025 i have to admit i was right. Most of the movies were totally bs. I only watched the frankeinstein from these and cannot watch any more from the list (thinking about the swedish one but i just want to watch something lite). Now i understand the below 6 imdb rates of the movies from last year. Now back to european movies because us movies are dead.
@dmidsA Long Walk is my favorite in this list

@convodatalented4966F1 was definitely #1 for me
It was the one film of the year that made it feel absolutely worth it to go see at the theater.
Xavier Bardem absolutely steals scenes like crazy too, which was fun to experience.
☺️🤙
Biggest disappointment for me was “House of Dynamite” as it started out strong and then just became pointless & lame.
The worst film I actually saw last year was “War of the Worlds” with Ice Cube but I’m pretty sure I’d feel that the worst of 2025 was probably “Snow White.” I never saw it so to be fair that is just a theory based on the deep regret expressed by friends who endured the severe tortuous agony of the experience.
2025 non

I’m revisiting this video after watching the 98th Oscars last night. Watchmojo’s top pick, “One Battle After Another”, won 6 Oscars including Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, and Supporting Actor. The number 2 pick, “Sinners” secured 16 nominations, more than any other film to date, but took home the Oscars for Best Actor, Original Screenplay, Original Score and Cinematography. Jessie Buckley won for Best Actress her performance in their number 3 pick, Hamnet, while Amy Madigan won for Best Supporting Actress for her creepy comeback performance in their number 4 pick, “Weapons”.
Their number 6 pick, Guillermo Del Toro’s “Frankenstein”, received 9 nominations including Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, and Supporting Actor. It won for its Costume Design, Production Design and Makeup and Hairstyling. “Sentimental Value”, their number 11 pick, was also nominated for 9 Oscars, winning for Best International Film, the first win for Norway. “K-Pop Demon Hunters”, their number 7 pick, won for Best Animated Film and Original Song. Their number 5 pick, “Bugonia” received 4 nominations, but won none. Their number 13 pick, “Marty Supreme” received another 9 nominations, but also won none.
Upon closer inspection, the horror genre made a big splash at the Oscars and walked away with the most nominations and the most wins. Hopefully, this will encourage Oscar voters to take the genre more seriously as an art.
Here after OBAA crowned itself as Best Picture at this year's Oscars. "THE signature movie of the 2020's", huh? Let's see about that in 4 years time.
