@BackonVinagreWell feel free to add “War of the Worlds” with Ice Cube to the list. Horrible. From beginning to end. I wasn’t expecting a blockbuster, simply because “War of the Worlds” on the big screen just doesn’t work for some reason. No matter how hard they try. However, I didn’t expect it to be that damn bad. That might be the worst movie I’ve personally, ever seen. It’s certainly the worst movie I’ve seen this year, no doubt about it. The plot was silly, and that’s being polite. I actually thought this was like one of those “Sharknado” kind of comedies, where they were making fun of War of the Worlds. So at first I thought “ok, Ice Cube makes good comedies. This should have me laughing soon. But, as time went on, I realized they were serious. And my hopes for laughter turned into cringe. It was pretty bad.
Come on Ice Cube…You’re better than that man.
I don’t know what’s happening with prime and Amazon. There are all these studios that just pump out movies as cheap and fast as possible which leads me to believe a bunch of corporations in China must own the majority of them now????? It’s the only thing that makes sense. Like how their products are? Fast and cheap. And people gobble it up regardless of the low quality. So, cinema is dying too. Every once in a while we get a movie that’s pretty decent, but percentage wise, it’s gotta be like 5-600: 1. The 5-600 things you’ll find is cheap crap: the one well made picture.
And it looks like they’re going to remake all the marvel movies now. I’m so bored with super hero movies. They were fun at first, like 25 years ago. But now? Eh…. I don’t need to to see Spider-Man repeated again. There’s been enough avenger movies. Fantastic 4, x-men, etc. it’s all been done and fairly recently. But it worked, so they’ll just stick with it I guess??? I don’t know…

@Theatre_gamer_movie_lover2008I'll never understand how "Moulin Rouge" with Nicole Kidman and Ewen MacGregor was nominated for 8 Academy Awards and put on the list of the best 35 films of all time. It had to be one of the biggest bores I ever saw. I could barely sit through the DVD ,and got rid of it as soon as possible.
