you should use Jakarta's urban area population for a list like this. Jakarta already has 31 million people in 2022 so it should at least beat Shanghai. Maybe it can beat Delhi.

@srinaths6381It's ultimately about how you measure it. But having been to almost every one of these cities, I'd give the Pearl River Delta the title (good or bad) of biggest. Tokyo is huge. But Hong Kong/Shenzhen/Guangzhou is contiguous and it's almost unbelievable in size.
@williamtell5365Wrong story about Dhaka. Despite a flood is in Bangladesh this year, it didn't touch Dhaka city. Probably, Dhaka had suffered from flood last time in 1988. Since then, new protection was built to product Dhaka from flood.

Because of the large population,Over here most cities in China are filled with high apartment buildings......No one wants to living in those apartmants,we just want to live in houses with yards but we can't afford them.
