I disagree with the list. In fact, there's no way to compare films based on REAL military history (Band of Brothers, Gettysburg, etc.) with pure fiction

Actually the best movie charge ever done, it also has a worst history that goes with it. Original "Charge of the Light Brigade". Well shot but it killed or seriously injured over 600 horses,many having to be put down. But it is consisidered one of the closest to real events created!

Number one is from The Lighthorsemen at the wells of Beersheba against the Turks in WWI. The greatest cavalry charge in film history. A great movie!

Gettysburg should have been higher on the list. It was filmed on the Actual Battlefield and where the actual charge was

I feel a missing one was when Genghis Khan fought his rival Jodi in the Movie "Mongol" o see those armoured two handed swordsmen mad charge the entire enemy army to break up its formation , and followed up by the regular mongols - It was brilliant and compelling . Not as a big a movie in the movie world , but one of the best charge scenes on film IMO
