Someone else has Gainesville on top crime cities
@deborahkirkle9047Gainesville is said to have high crime. Sarasota is expensive. I avoid Orlando, although there are some nice areas outside the city. Be careful in Ybor at night. Naples is another expensive place. If you have money, you can live anywhere. You get what you pay for.
I totally agree about Jacksonville. It has some nice nieghborhoods, good beaches, and plenty of shopping. Jax would be my choice.
