I was born on September 20th 1996 when James Cameron started production of Titanic and the film was released in 1997. One year after I was born. I was still a baby at the time and also at the time I didn't know what the movie was about and I don't know very much history about the Titanic.

Im in my 30s now, but I grew up in the tri cities area and my mom took me to this very museum when I was a pre teen. It was a really fabulous experience. I didn't get bored, even as an autistic adhd kid. I ended up as moved and cried as much as the times I've watched the documentaries and movies. I can't remember the name of the passenger I was assigned. I think it started with an R, female, 3rd class, I made it on a boat, my mom (and the person she was assigned) did not. I love seeing how it's changed and how it hasn't. I for sure need to revisit as an adult.

Fun fact: it is true that Quartermaster Hichens did turn the ship hard to starboard, he was actually turning the ship to PORT. At the time, officers and sailors were using what were know as tiller commands. To turn a boat’s tiller, or rudder, to the starboard would therefore turn the ship to the port. It does sound confusing, but Titanic’s men knew precisely what they were doing.

A major cover up regarding the sinking of the Titanic,, I just learned watching on a TV streaming network a program TITANIC FATAL FIRE,,,, It wasn't just the iceberg alone that cause the demise of the Titanic 😮, A cover up of a fire in Titanic before it set to sail 😮 ,,, yrs later the cover up was brought to light regarding the Titanic demise and deaths!! It wasn't just the iceberg alone 😮 A must see-- TITANIC FATAL FIRE 😮😢,😭. The builder was right when he stated the ship is unsinkable 👍🏾, All lives would've have been saved if it wasn't fire damage involved!! 😭😭. GREED cost these people and pets lives!!! ,😭

Pretty sure some of the Irish builders of Titanic fought in WW1 probably in the Pals battalions.

Why is there a museum there and not England, America always has to claim everything

I found it very disrespectful that they didn't talk about. How violent Jessup was on 3 ships of the Olympic class. And how she was on HMHS Britannic.
WORLD’S LARGEST TITANIC MUSEUM ATTRACTION
Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge is a celebration of the ship, passengers and crew!
Looks very fun! I would love to go there!
It is said that the best way to respect and honor those who gave their lives is to simply tell their stories.

the captain with the little piece of rust.... he has a part of my heart <3
As the whole world remembers the world’s most famous luxury liner, Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tn. will continue to open the door to the past in it’s one-of-a-kind way – letting “passengers” experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. As visitors touch a real iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase and third class hallways, reach their hands into 28-degree water, and try to stand on the sloping decks, they learn what it was like on the RMS Titanic by experiencing it first-hand.
Each guest entering the ship will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew. Feel their spirit presence in the galleries where over 400 personal and private artifacts are on display. Many are on display for the first time in the world. This collection is valued at over four and a half million dollars. This is a self-guided tour.
Why is it called poop deck
Discover your passenger or crew’s fate in the Titanic Memorial Room where 2,208 names line this historic wall.
The heart of the ship is the Grand Staircase, constructed from the original Harland & Wolff plans with its oak carvings and cherub statue. Here, a magnificent glass dome reflects light off oak wall paneling and elaborate railings and iron scrollwork. Wide, sweeping steps and landings provide a spectacular area where the original guests of the RMS Titanic made their appearances. You’ll be surprised to learn what the floor was made of – something considered most expensive for 1912.
Great tour and museum

well Done!! Best presentation of the Titanic tragedy. I also watched a film that thought that that that the Titanic was actually the Olympic, her sister ship and the name was swapped whilst still in dock. The company wanted to scupper the Olympic because she had so many accidents that she was no longer sea worthy. They then then took the letters off of the ship of the Titanic which wasn't ready yet and put them on to the Olympic. This was an English made film on Amazon.

@katinamartin346Hi There .. Thanm you so much for the Information. In January 20212, the Museum made a travelling exhibition to SIngapore, and I took my mom to see the exhibition. It was wonderful.
@KandiSofiaDahlanThis seems a great museum, I'm from Southampton England, and iv been in the grapes pub down Oxford Street many times
@johnnytrodden7669Titanic movie could’ve came here and asked for the frog😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Historybuff444I loved the grand staircase with the Christmas decorations and she then said ‘giving her the Christmas she never had’. 💚 I also like that the guide described what it was made of and it was indeed to scale. To have someone portraying the Captain who has done the dive to the wreck, I thought he was fantastic. I will never get to see this museum in person so this video is the closest I will get - thanks!
