2026 and can’t believe our musical QUEEN has been gone 3 years now.I got to see her 6 times in concert and she put on an electrifying concert.This concert at Wembley Stadium was an amazing show with the Goodyear Blimp high above giving us those aerial views of all those diehard fans.Tina Turner still holds the Guinness World Record for her !988 concert in Rio and to give perspective to it Madonna performed in the same stadium to 130,000 fans to Tina’s 182,000.

@Blackberry-q7gI have loved Tina Turner since I was a little tiny kid because my mom and dad absolutely loved her and played her all the time along with Lionel Richie & When he was with the Commodores, my mom and dad played it all the time & when my mom found out that Lionel Richie was coming and Tina Turner would be her opening act.
My 1st time seeing her live was on Lionel Richie Can’t Slow Down Tour 1984 & (I Saw this Tour on ((Wednesday June 6, 1984 @ The Hartford Civic Center, which became the XL center & is now People’s Bank Arena as of July 2025))

My mom got tickets for me, My Mom, my older sister, and it was amazing. I was blown away with Tina Turner performing. she was incredible as always.
Then 24 later, when Tina Turner announced her Tina! 50Th Anniversary Tour)
I just knew I had to get tickets for me and my mom so at Christmas I bought her Tina Turner‘s greatest hits CD & on the bottom of the CD I taped the 2 tickets.
My mom literally was jumping up and down and her and I went and it was beyond incredible.
I was so excited when she performed “We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)” this song is definitely in my top 10 of my all-time favorite songs and in my top 3 of my favorite Tina Turner songs and I was ecstatic that when she came out with the exact same outfit that she wore in the movie (Mad Max beyond Thunderdome).

Tina was the last female performer in the old Wembley Stadium and that’s an honor.She definitely put on a high energy show and even had the Goodyear Blimp high above…and now we have lost the person who introduced her on stage James Earl Jones.
