Such an eye-opening video!
Isn't there any occasion on which one MUST read the whole text? I think this may be inevitable to be able to answer certain questions

Thanks a lot. My main problem is time management. I can do 40/40 in every reading test, but I exceed time by 10 to 15 minutes. I way I approach: I first read all the questions in any part, then read the passage and answer the questions while reading. But I have to look at the questions a lot of times. Is this a really bad approach?
I'm thinking of changing my approach if it is. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💛💛💛💛💛💛

I have my IELTS exam on October 18th, but I’m currently struggling with the Reading module — I usually score around a band 6. I really want to improve both my timing and overall band score. If anyone could share useful tips or strategies to help me do better, I’d be truly grateful!

It’s not true. The order of the questions does not follow the order of the text. That’s why I struggle so much. I did like 3 reading test since yesterday and none of them followed the order. I am not sure if those tests are wrong or what. Sorry

I signed up for ielts on Friday, have a hungover Friday night, panic-scramming through this YouTube channel on the weekend as my exam was on Monday. Got 8 overall, 9 in listening 8.5 in reading 7 in both speaking and writing. It was my first ielts test and was an academic test. Thank you so much to everyone in this channel! And my good friend Steven who recommended this channel, he specifically recommended to watch Jay's video.
