I have a question though. My son works at a convenient store and just asked him how many cash sales you see in a day. He said rarely, so how do you make money off this unless it's installed at a church or strip club? I'll be asking my local bank how often they had to fill the machines compared to 5 years ago. Someone like this so I can reply after results.

@jeanaugustin4780ATM can make a lot of money if the location is right. I managed a small laundromat in nyc and the guy who help us setup charges $0.10 per transaction, we do own the ATM but if anything is wrong we call him up. We charge $1.50 per transaction which is on the lower side for NYC, most place charge $2.50+ and i believe per month we bring in $200+ in fees.

Need details how banks pay loaders..any fees..
Do you bold done the atms on floors?
Does buying atm include all software support?
How do you cover yourself if software bugs and give more money...it happens even in big banks.
Who provides parts that need replacement?
What about if internet connection goes down?
Are there locations with two different atm providers?
Do you reduce your fees or pay more to owner to keep your machine and have the other guys atm out?

@Earth-in-spaceInteresting video, but I think this raises more questions about this business.. Isn't there any insurance for the ATM's and cash? To my understanding the risk goes solely to the ATM operator and even he is the one loading the cash without any concern at all. What about security itself, those keys are not custom made, easily anyone will be able to hack into the system. What about compliance with industry standards SW and HW, does it follow PCI, any audits. What about the components if it fails, maintainace, but well it does have really low cash flow / transactions for it to be a concern I think. Then the SW and that is black box to me, which one it uses to what server switch controller or ATM network it connects, how do you handle security keys from the pin pad and register to this network, user/admin password, etc. To be honest I don't know if there is no regulation at all in the US but my mind is blown that someone will run it's own ATM operation without all of these concerns. Anyways thanks for the video hope for the best anyone associated with this business.
