Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” shares what he believes might be Jordan Peterson’s best speech ever. This the closing speech of the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference in London. The conference was attended by 1500 invitees from over 70 countries, including dignitaries, politicians, and media people, all aiming to solve current global issues. Peterson's speech delved into the concept of identity and its connection to faith and responsibility. He argued that a proper identity is the union of faith and responsibility, and it is through service to others that we find meaning in life. He criticized the current trend of teaching young people to focus on their immediate needs and self-interest, arguing that this leads to misery. Instead, he advocates for a life of responsibility and sacrifice, which he believes leads to a meaningful and fulfilling life. He ended his speech by encouraging the audience to adopt this perspective and use it to make a positive impact on the world.
I think a large component of this is the absence of delayed gratification, and the immense satisfaction that it produces in your life.

I PREFER TO LISTEN AND ABIDE TO WHAT NONHUMANS BEINGS TELL ME RATHER THAN LISTEN TO A WHOLE HOUR OF NEEDLESS WORDS. @JoseIneguezMy best friend suffered a traumatic brain injury when his boys were 3 and 5. He can no longer be a dad. It was video and audio like this one that pushed me to go to them and try to help make sense of it all. I have no children of my own. Thanks to JP I'm always thinking of new ways to talk to them and listen. My friend can no longer be a dad. He's in a facility full time at 40 years old. I can't help him. I can help them. I take the responsibility very seriously. They are 9 and 10 now. I started this saying. Men are 10. We talk about what a man does. I used hygiene as an example recently. A man maintains good hygiene. We brush our teeth and clean under our fingernails. It's going ok so far. I'm so thankful for JP content. I don't know where I would have been had I not seen how lucky I am to live and experience all of life. The up and down. Thank you Jordan Peterson.
@ChristopherManringIm not religious, but almost everything he said is just universally helpful, so thanks a lot for that. I like that he says things in a non divisive matter. Everyone can apply his teachings in some way or other to oneself and become a better person trough, whether you are a theist or not.

@svantenordstromSince I’ve heard JP talk about the adventure and long game positive outcomes of sticking to the truth (in all sorts of manners) I’ve tried to implement that to the best of my abilities and the results are astonishing. My already fairly good life has become so much more fulfilling, interesting, fun and rewarding that it’s almost ridiculous and I’m sort of holding back for it not to spiral out of control.
Who would have known? The truth will set you free as fak.
