Have you ever visited York before? Do you plan to visit York in the future? Where in England should I visit next? Let me know in the comments below đ
We start at York Railway Station and visit the National Railway Museum, home to iconic trains like the Mallard steam locomotive and the InterCity 125. From there, we explore the city centre, including the River Ouse, Stonegate, Parliament Street and the famous Shambles â one of Europeâs best-preserved medieval streets.
Next, we visit York Minster, one of Northern Europeâs largest Gothic cathedrals, before finishing with a walk along the York City Walls, nearly two miles of historic fortifications dating back to Roman times. With over 2,000 years of history â from Roman foundations to Viking influence and medieval expansion â York is a city full of stories to discover.
Great video, York is one of my favourite places to visit
