A true Berliner does not live "in" Wedding but "at" or "on" the Wedding - (as the name signifies of an old farmstead)
Berlin, like any other major city has its own small day-to-day habits and happenings that only their local citizen understand. These are some of the most common in our beloved German capital.
Moving to Berlin, Germany can be very confusing at the beginning. The nightlife, the cultural melting pot and the huge discrepancy between rich and poor can be overwhelming. But no one has ever regretted choosing life as an expat here
Still there are not enough apartments, so many people are looking especially for small (and therefore affordable) single flats, but pre WW-2 and early WW2 Berlin had even over 4 million population, it was always interesting to hear from real old Berliners how it was back than when I was young in the 1990's and early 2000's... to party scene I can't say much, on Methadone since 2005, but yea it is easier to call for some coke than to call a pizza, especially in the middle of the night, but also during the day, but don't take the first offer at tourist spots or you pay tourist prices for tourist quality.
We have a heavy problem with users injecting or smoking coke ("basen", the evil C*rack Word is ofc not used for marketing reasons...) inside the scene, when Opioids don't kick in really anymore people start using "white" and Benzodiazepines and alcohol, happy I used almost only "brown" and not much white (except I could get some for free or had a lot money) before I started with Methadone, because coke it changes the people and whole places extreme fast, people looking for some money to buy their next capsule are really desperate and unlike with Opioids there is no chance to get something similiar or something that really takes away the craving and the "withdrawal" by going into a program or visit a doctor or if you go for detox...no real physical withdrawal IMHO but extreme craving and mindf*ock, I hope you all other guys have fun in Berlin and that you can avoid this places! Unfortunately you will find such places in almost every developed large city in the world.

Habe 6 von 9 verstanden, war aber erst 2 Tage in Berlin. Und dass mit der U-Bahn versteht man wirklich nur, wenn man mal mit der Berliner U-Bahn gefahren ist, und wenn man kein Deutsch kann, ist das mit dem Berliner schwer zu verstehen

A Berliner (or Krapfen as it`s called in Bavaria) is called a "Pfannkuchen" in Berlin, while the dish that is called "Pfannkuchen" in most other places in Germany, is called "Eierkuchen" in Berlin... at leat if you`re actually from Berlin
