When everything collapses — when the grid fails, supply chains die, and chaos takes over — 99% of people will fail before the second sunrise. Why? Because they packed for comfort, not survival. The 7 Item Survival Secret Professional Preppers Don't Want You to Know
In this video, Fallout Raccoon exposes the biggest lie in the survival world: the fantasy industrial complex that sells you 70-pound bug-out bags full of useless gear. You don’t need 50 items — you only need seven.
Wish you had left links for some of this stuff lol
🔥 What you’ll learn:
The 7 essential survival tools that actually matter when civilization burns down.
Hahaha, I was going to add in the comments that you forgot the most important thing... Mindset. But there it was, you added it at the very end. Great list and video.
The #1 mistake most preppers make (and how to fix it).
How to use the Multiplier Rule to turn simple items into life-saving systems.
don't eat the tinfoil.
Why 90% of “tactical gear” is just dead weight.
The science behind fire, water, shelter, and adaptability in a post-collapse world.
I like your list.
From the infinite spark that can save your life in freezing rain, to the invisible multipliers that keep your gear alive — this is survival stripped to the bone. No sponsors. No fantasy. Just reality.

They never tell you about how to eat and what to eat and when to eat. Knives, bastard filers, shovels and sidestraps, and firearms if the law really begins to collapse, are all you really need.
EDIT: Also, why not just wrap everything in plastic you find? It's free, abundant, will likely be abundant during a collapse and will keep all your crap dry af.

• Fire — the spark that defines your odds.
• Water — the liquid survival matrix.
6 C's and M- - - please, if possible. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
1. Cutting Tool - full-tang knife.
2. Combustion Device - Fire-starting tool.
3. Cover - tarp, blanket.
4. Container - stainless steel water bottle.
5. Cordage - durable rope, bank line.
6. Cellphone.
7. Medication.❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹
• Shelter — infinite adaptability through minimal gear.
• Tools — the one blade that never fails.
You will run out of food long before most of these become a factor. You also seem to assume you'll be on your own. Good luck if so...that's the worst spot to be in for most people. With a company, you can double up on consumables, share the load on durables. You don't have to carry everything you need.
• Cordage, waterproofing, and repair — the forgotten trinity of true preparedness.
💡 Whether you’re a prepper, minimalist, or just someone who wants to survive the collapse smarter, this is the one video you can’t afford to miss.

The Fantasy Industrial Complex
Hello fellow community, man do i feel useless. Im currently trying to prepare given the current situation. I just dont want to be so dependant on everything i hate it. Thought about finally investing. Money is going to be worth less anyways. I plan on practicing when i can, and to keep some gear on me at all times. So any wisdom/recommendations/practical advice is much appreciated. I hate what society has come to and the crucial skills we lost. Thank you all in advance :)
The Multiplier Rule
Fire: The Infinite Spark
law of 3 rules gear awesome
Water: The Boiling Certainty
Shelter: The Infinite Architecture
I wish I could start. Totally depended on my eldest at the moment. At least I have tools.😂
In South Africa, very few people are able to prep. A real knife, over a thousand. I can't even prep on meds.
The Singular Edge
The Binding That Doesn’t Quit
1. Knife: USMC K-Bar, I have had it since 1981. 2. 100 foot of Paracord, the REAL kind, and REAL expensive unless you steal it from a military parachute drying hanger. Made from braided SILK with a UV and cut resistant kevlar/arimid sheath, not nylon and does not stretch, or deacy. This is what i trust with my life. And yes, also a spool of bank line, becasue it is not $350 a foot, but it has a lower breaking strain and lower shock load. 3. two I quart stainless steel canteens, again Military issue, with molle or ALICE connections, for all the reasons in the video. 4. Lensatic compass with magnifiing glass/fire starter. 5. Ferro Rod firestarter. 6. Yes, contractor bags are the best. Also, military packs come with a Water proof inner bag that alot of sub standard troops lose or forget. 7. Poncho and liner from military surplus. wieght is ablut 1.5 lbs. get two of them if you can find them. 8. Firearms with integrated cleaning tools. 9. 200 rds. of ammo for your firearm unless you are on combat op, that will last for at least a week. 10. Flair gun with 3 flairs. 11. extra boots, 2 extra sets of clothes. 12. 3 days of meals, 2 meals a day. 12.collapsable 6 foot Dog cathers pole, with lanyard. ( how to strangle your prey from behind and stay out of reach). This is for 2 Days 1 night recon. Do not stay away from your "Base" longer than that if you are alone, or you might come back to squaters.
The Invisible Multiplier
The Everything Fixer
The contractor bag is a great idea I wish I were to fall out of it it's a good one man I will use it
What Really Matters
Water you have to filter first! Buy an unglazed terracotta jar & activated carbon. Sandpaper jar inside & out with baking soda, rinse with hot water. Place over a sterilised bucket, add water! Drip filter 2-5 times to rid muddy taste. When filtration slows, re-clean & slowly heat over open flame until dry, then slowly cool. Restart filtration! Add activated carbon to pot to filter viruses or boil!

I DON'T FILTER WATER ! My system just able to accept the water and deal with it I've been doing this for over 50 years and it still doing it
@personal.YouTube.channelyou don't need any of it
@HellYeahBigKevMagnacut stainless wont rust and it takes extreme use to dull it, welcome to the prepper knives, MagnaCut
@lakesheppard6129I bought a single wall stainless steel like you said I drunk from it a little I'm telling you this because I'm a little scared because I never did something like this but I did exactly like what you told me too
@argalow22-k2gYes to the fixed blade knife and yes to a tomahawk, with a good hawk you have a strong hammer, you have a weapon that outdoes the knife. You have a tool that was actually made for wood processing, unlike the knife. You can pop the handle off and use it for a planer. If the handle breaks you can fit a new one in the field.
As far as you pack getting wet, they make a pack cover that keeps your pack nice and dry. That being said contractor bags are good stuff. Also look up gaffers tape
atleast for camping, a tent is the best option for shelter, I cant say I know what is best in the apocalypse...
@JackFrost008I rather get a 10 inch blade and 4 inch mora combo. And a Hatchet. And a 28 inch axe. Large knives are good up to 4 inch diameter wood. Larger trees need an axe. And a 13 inch saw. If can bring only one knife I bring a Cold steel trailmaster.
@iruwildOnly half of this info is correct. Good start for a beginner, but after 70 years, I've come to 50% different conclusions.
@JohnnyNowhereI know this probably goes without saying but DO NOT GET COMFORTABLE drinking sketchy water even with boiling, while yes it kills viruses, it does not neutralise chemicals, and most watersources these days will have certain chemicals that wont be neutralised with boiling. Make sure you have a method for neutralising chemicals - especially if you're filtering water sources in a metro area! They WILL BE polluted!
@AussieBattler0As an Australian regarding water I would suggest something akin to a milbank bag to remove larger silt, sand and insects from the water before boiling. Sand and silt especially can lead to gut irritation and diarrhea. This is less of a problem in some parts of the world were every second step is moving water but around here a natural water source is at best a turbid river at worst a mud puddle you dug up in a creek bed.
@TwoPlusTwoEqualsFive32U.S. Marine corp K-BAR KNIFE 🗡️ One of the best.
@markhuffman2752I've always found copper wire to be handy. Just wrapped around the knife scabbard. 14 or 12 solid.
@ridgerunner106300 ft of #36 Tarred bank line
5+ 55-gal heavy duty contractor bags
Take the full roll of duck tape. Do some extra squats and shoulder presses to offset a measly 1.5lbs
@edrichesonNobody lied about anything I hate these overdramatic headlines
@rickJolly-k1iAny body that doesn't know to have trash bags and duct tape won't know how to use them effectively anyway.
@Robert-n1r6hThe boiling water thing; what about removing dangerous chemicals?
@stevemoore5053Well the #1 rule...know where your going from point a to point b...mapping roads...setting gps way points....have what you need to get there...practice to get there.....have what you will need at point B....it s how it s done
@yanrochon2122You forgot lighting ie headlamp or some lighting and extra batteries
@vincentflauto7650I roll duct tape around my lighter too. I'm a duct tape queen lol
But I'll not get rid of the Ax, that's a mistake. It's an ax, a weapon. Hammer too
duct taoe? why not gaffer tape?
@temisdelA note to remember regarding Bank line, always get braided, not twisted. Twisted unravels and turns into a bird nest nightmare.
@JustJ001A 45 inch blade?
Man, that's a sword.
I have lived in the woods for months. I had a backpack, clothes, a tarp, a rope, a machete, a small knife, a pot, a few drops of bleach, a ferro rod, cotton balls and a first aid kit. A sewing kit. A thermos. And some plastic straws. And a few other things that aren't necessary for survival, like a porn mag and coffee. ;)
@bigdallycYou can survive longer than 3 days without water. Stop it eat your water anyway.
@shawnwright5079Oh how i wish u would NOT use any music
@geraroth9313Only down side I can see, is all the nuclear missile silos. They will be some of the first to be struck before we can retaliate with them.
@michaelharned191The best fire starter is a magnifying glass. The fancy fire starters eventually wear out and water proof matches get used up. Dont buy a knew model magnifying gass though, they dont work as well as one from the 1980s and back.
@WilliamNabors-f4dBoiling water will not completely KILL ALL THE BUGS IN IT. That is a misnomer. Granted it is better than filtration and direct drinking. But in order to kill everything you need the rule of 10s and that requires an autoclave 10 psi/110Celsius for 10 minutes. Bacillus Anthrax is the reason why.
