These Chords Are Sus... Sus chords explained

I took a bit of a study trip to these older videos to support and enrich my perspectives on theory concepts and learning them. I have to say I'm glad that the video pace has perhaps slowed down a bit, this was surprisingly restless pace. But great example pieces, enjoyable and understandable.

Didn't know why I loved this song so much until I learned about suspended chords from this video. Now, I am 99% sure the intro to the song Kid A by Radiohead is made up of a bunch of suspended chords that wait wait wait to define the quality.

No that's not what it means at all. There is a huge misunderstanding about the use of the word suspension in music theory. Suspension in this case means you are continuing with a note hanging over from a previous chord
. It is the 4th which is suspended.
you do not understand what the word "suspend" means in this context.
A suspension in music is where a note from a chord is held over whilst the other notes of the chord change to a new harmony
You may for example change from the G chord to a D chord but you will keep the G note which is the fourth of the D as a suspension
suspend here is used in the sense of hanging on, think suspension bridge.
It's not called a suspended chord because we don't know where it's going to resolve
. It got the name from the fact that the 4th note is suspended i.e. played, before resolving, usually, to the 3rd. Sus 4’ is short for ‘suspended 4th’. It's not about suspense as in a thriller film 😂 6

i've been learning classical music for 5 years and i didnt have a good understanding of sus chords or why they're called that until now

Suspended doesn't mean suspense. It means you are suspending a note. In most cases you are suspending the 3rd. That means deleting it, or removing it momentarily. That creates tension and resolve. Not suspense like in a movie. Two different meanings entirely. I may be mistaken but this is how I was taught.
