These Are The Richest Rock Bands In The World

Video Overview & Insights

Over the past seven decades, there have been thousands of rock bands that have hit the charts or had some modicum of commercial success. But only a few have reached the absolute top of the music industry, rewarded not just with worldwide fame, but also with unparalleled fortune.

Correction: David Gilmour joined Pink Floyd after they got their name, not before. The band also broke up in the 1980s, not the 1990s. Thanks for pointing out these errors, and for keeping us on our toes!

If they don't seek out their Creator to meet and know Him, they will have failed at the highest purpose in life. Sure, Jesus has wanted for us --- a good and happy life, but our Creator also has wanted for us to meet and know HIM, as well. Don't fail to seek Him and get to know Him.
Jesus said: "You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way." ... Most people don't even think about God. It's the most important thing in life.

Hilarious. Why would you think black eyed peas are a rock band. 😂

Last comment is hilarious. Why would you think black eyed peas are a rock band?

I don't know if this is 100% true, but I heard of a band that couldn't think of a name before they went on stage, so when asked they had to come up with a name quick. The band before them was Pretty Boy Floyd, so they decided on the name Ugly Kid Joe.

DMB lost their original keyboard player Peter Greiser quit before their first commercial success, LeRoi Moore tragically died from complications of an ATV wreck in 2008, and Boyd Tinsley was ousted in 2018 due to a sex scandal.

Well with over 1000 cd's I only own cd's from one of them. I'll give you a hint - think 80's.
Two of the bands I don't even think I've heard of. The first one and Coldplay.
Out of the rest I do maybe listen to a little bit of Aerosmith and Metallica.
Of course the band that I own albums of is Bon Jovi, I think the first 5 or 6 cd's. Everything after These Days I'm not a fan of.

It's hard to take the horrible mistake about David Gilmour was one of the original member of Pink Floyd in 1965. Idiot.

This video immediately lost all credibility when it said the combined net worth of the Dave Matthews Band is 51 Million. That’s not even remotely close. That’s a summer tour. Dave’s personal net worth is in the hundreds of millions and Carters, Boyd’s, and Stefan’s are probably way up in the 8 figures.

Stopped watching when a pink Floyd showed up and the video says David Gilmour was already in the band when it got named Pink Floyd (wrong) it also says the band split in the 90s. Also so very wrong, they split in the 80s. Do your homework before putting out a video.

@mariblando

AC/DC and Queen should be right up there. This is inaccurate, forget The Black Eyes Peas.

Beyoncé didn’t have the Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction;” that was Janet Jackson. The lyric that accompanied it was “I’m gonna have you naked by the end of this song,” which implies the alleged malfunction is responsible for the rest of Janet’s clothes staying on.
